Hey, just finished the demo and I must say that it blew me away. My cup of tea is usually strategy games (go fig!), but I loved Painkiller. Something like a darker Serious Sam. Fantastic.
As far as kudos go, btw, AMAZING weapons. Great, GREAT Pain/Killer! lol
Now, a few humble suggestions...
I think the Pain/Killer weapon is great... But, IMHO, to make it better:
- When using 'Pain', how about gibs flying all the way? Okay, maybe a bit sadistic of me, but I think it would be hella cool!
- When using 'Killer', it would be great if the grappling hook thingy would also pick up... Pickups... lol I don't mean souls, but armor and ammo. Just a thought.
As for the Steak:
- Wall steaking is great! But if you could actually steak two or more enemies that are in line, it would add a new level of eye candy (not to mention that it would add somewhat strategic elements... Trying to line the baddies up... lol)
Anyway, I think that's it for the weapons.
Btw, great effects when everything goes negative-like and the enemies are painted red. Take that you big bad Juggernaut-like fella! Wheeeeee! lol
