How do you turn off the DMA?

I just read in tech support for ASUS's I may have to uncheck my DMA. It says look it up in your help on your computer how to do it. I did, no luck. Why don't they just tell us and instead of making us have to search? If anyone knows I will greatly appreciate you telling me how.
