Hello!
I've already had this problem with the painkiller demo and It's still there now :-(
The game itself runs fine BUT:
The screen resolution is stuck (or locked?) to 656x496. The resolution setting in the game has no effect at all. Although the screen turns black for a few seconds as if it normally does when switching the resolution but nothing actually changes.
Oh yes, also the install programm says that it has detected that my display is not capable of at LEAST 640x480, 24million colors although I'm runnig at 1280x1024
here are my system specs:
Win2k (all service packs)
AthlonXP 2800+
FIC Radeon9800pro
Display is a 19" TFT via DVI (1280x1024 native res.)
1024mb ram
~300gig free HDspace
CATALYST ver: DNA driver 2.2.4.3.b (modded catalyst 4.3) (problem also exists with original catalyst)
Any ideas? This is getting frustrating :-(
