like others here, the game has crashed at certain times once in a while for me. i have gotten 2 kinds of crashes, the first being the game just drops me back to my desktop, which has only happened twice so far, and the other crash being that the game just freezes completley, and i have to turn off the power strip my pc is plugged into.
anyway, just in case it is a problem with my computer, i did 2 things:
1. i did the "error-checking" for my hard drive (go into my computer, then right click on hard drive, go to properties, then click the tools tab).
2. the space where my actual PC is is actually pretty cramped in the back, so i was thinkin that possibly my pc didnt have enough room to get rid of the hot air that came out of the back of it, causing it to get more heated than neccessary, making it crash, so i gave it a lot more room in the back (i have one of those computer desks)
i have played the game several times since i did those, each for about an hour, and it didnt crash once. now maybe its just wishful thinking, but one of or both of those things maybe could have done something. So if anyone else has the 2 problems i mentioned, try both of these.
i'll gladly play the game some more to see if they really did have an effect.
by the way, when its not crashing, this game totaly kicks ***!! I'm at the asylum level (i've been re-playing previous levels just because they are so fun, and i havent done that in a game in a long time, plus i don't wanna beat the came too quickly) and its awesome, just like every other one!! i really like the variety in the levels unlike other games (far cry) i have been getting fed up with multiplayer only games like unreal tournament, and the "real-world" "tactical" shooters that really don't require any tactics at all. this game is like a breath of fresh air.
