Hi,
I've searched through the forum, and heres what I find out, most help given is of no help, pointless posts asking for system specs. I don't have all the answers, only the answers to problems of mines I've solved.
Problem: Please insert correct CD
Answer: Download and install the patch. This won't necessarily solve your problem. When you input the 2nd cd, don't hit Play Iron Storm on the autorun screen. Instead start the islauncher file in the iron storm directory.
Problem: Crashes to desktop when using Windows XP Home Edition
Answer: Most games require a special video driver not packaged with Win XP, Download here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;327979
Answer 2: Update all video, graphic & display drivers
Answer 3: Make sure your pc has a graphics card 32mb or higher. Using onboard graphics cards will not work. You need an actual graphics card installed.
Problem: Video and menu text is shown as white blocks.
Answer: I don't know of this for sure, but it seems to me that some pcs running AMD processors have trouble with the game. I have two pcs with about the same specs, except one with an Intel processor and one with an AMD XP processor. I can't even get the amd to run the game.
