DREAMCATCHER INTERACTIVE ENTERS EUROPEAN MARKET

Parisian base established for video game production, publishing and distribution in Europe.

Toronto, Canada January 29, 2002 - DreamCatcher Interactive Inc. today announced that it has opened its European office, in Paris. The new location will give the North American based company a central location to concentrate on new business opportunities in Europe.

“This is a signal that DreamCatcher is determined to maintain its aggressive growth strategy, particularly in the PC Adventure games market” said Richard Wah Kan, President and CEO. “Having greater control over the production, publishing and distribution process within Europe will allow us to more effectively duplicate the success we have enjoyed in North America – there’s great potential for us.”

DreamCatcher’s European office will contain sales, marketing, production and administrative personnel. The new office will be headed up by Olivier Pierre, who was previously Co-Managing Director of French publisher, Wanadoo Edition.

The company is currently in negotiation with a number of key distributors across Europe. By the end of February, 2003, DreamCatcher expects to have games on shelves in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal. A further announcement in February will provide details of all distribution agreements and a full product line-up.
