Demo will not start

After installing the demo for Dungeon Lords the following error shows

Error signature
AppName: dlords.exe
AppVer: 0.0.0.0
ModName dlords.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0
Offset 0075d2f

Any help would be appreciated

i had a friend who had a problem with the demo starting, and i've heard of others also having a problem..the screen will go black for a few minutes, and then crash back to windows? is this like your problem? if so, my friend got the demo working by reinstalling his video card drivers. he has an ati card, the other had intel built in things. may be a different solution for them. i hope that helps.

yeah, there was lots of info on this problem. too bad the forums were eviscerated (3) some time today or last night. i would help you out, but i don't remember what or whether there was a solution. yay evisceration (4).

!@#$% !!! - I've been waiting for a resolution to this problem since day 1. Then I go and stop checking the forum for a few days and look what happens!

Does anyone remember if there were solutions? Pretty please?!?
