...many times this question comes up, and how EVERYONE refers those that ask, to the lousy FAQ instructions for it.

I've not only written a few posts on using a MUCH better and more specific method, my screenshots of Alastor going down have proven I can do it WITHOUT needing to take damage from Alastor, OR having to distract him risking further damage, AND without using any extra armor or health, in about 1;30 consistently, with proof of an extra Golem shown in the pic that was not even NEEDED.

WHEN are you guys going to get a clue and either insist the FAQ for this be rewritten, or ignored.

BOTTOM LINE, there IS a better way, and you may be leading some players down the path of frustration by not pointing it out!:rolleyes: This was without a doubt the most frustrating level for me to play, as I was consistently hearing BAD advice on how to beat him, advice which those whom submitted, admitted it relied heavily on luck being required to distract Alastor away from the Golem. My method requires lttle if ANY luck. I'm not writing this for personal gain, I've been very outspoken about both Birty and Painkilla giving me the advice that finally let me see how to do it. This is for others like me, that have tried the masochism and luck method numerous times, only to be frustrated by it, and look for a BETTER way, and very understandably so.

u'd need to use the functions in a proper way to do anything u'd like from the variety of the things it offers u ...

there r bindings (key control) for any different function, u can either bind more than one key to one thing or simply binding one key only, which is easier, and remember that "more than one key" means u'd need to hold down one key first and then press the second one to enable that function.

Did you even read or try the technique I just linked you to on the planet painkiller site?

You have to understand that cheats only work as well as the tarot cards cards for 2 reasons.

1) You must bleed on the altars (red cirlces), I just linked you to a brief guideline on how to do that with minimal damage to yourself, which also allows you to stay mobile and set in play 2 or 3 Golems.

2) Alastor is unaffected by weapons until a Golem damages him, so you'd have to go in and out of the game menu just to TRY and use cheats on him, which others have told me won't work.

Look, if you don't understand the caption on the "Alastor Goes Down" pic I refered you to, just tell me, and I'll give you more specific details OK. Do try this method first though, once you understand what I'm talking about, you'll be able to beat him easy, in under 2 minutes, using only the Rage and Haste card.;)

dont go with powermad if u havent done it first, its no big deal, rely on frag's words and u'll have him in a nick of time !! :)
