I see that many people here are really involved and wants to give some feedback on what they would like to see improved or some features that they feel would be nice to have in the game.
Let's keep it simple and informative.
My suggestion :
Vanquished monsters list (just a list of critters vanquished with how many you have slain and maybe some information on each one dependant on ID skill).

good idea, although i wouldn't make it based on ID skill, as that would force people to put points into a skill that they otherwise might have no need/want of in the regular game, just to see additional external content. but i would add that they show the combat animations for the mobs. i just saw this implemented in the last few days in a game/demo, but can't for the life of me remember where.

You're right, seeing the mobs you have vanquished shouldn't rely on your id skill.
I was basically thinking about having an extra tab which would show the monsters abilities and weaknesses and that somehow has to have some form for limitation.
One way of doing that is to have a vs level of any kind, for example if the monsters are 1 lev under you you get some of their stats displayed in the monster vanquished window and at +10 levels all stats are revealed.
I allways loved that info from the fallout series, out of my stats i had slayed 1211 Super Mutants and 200 Rats.

I like that idea. It would be nice to know how many Goblins you toasted and stuff like how many died by what weapons.

This is *very* far from a 'must have':
- I like how in some games, like Arcanum comes to mind, at the end of the game you get to see how the world ended up because of your intervention. You find out how a given town or people or person prospered or didn't as a result of your actions.

I agree it's not a must have. I think they could add something like this in the first patch. ;)

...at the end of the game
don't speak such vulgarities :) one of the beautiful things about the elder scrolls... you can keep going, exploring, finding more quests...
going back to the OP, something to show monster stats while fighting/seeing them being tied to an ID skill WOULD be nice indeed.

Yes main towns should keep a record of your kills and kills made by NPCs or other humans.
Rewards(gold/items/stats/titles) given by towns or kings when killing a specific amount of X, Y or Z monster.
On the same note... if some monster has killed 5 human characters this monster should become more powerful and also possibly listed in the town with how dangerous it is.
Example= Vampire spotted near entrance of Skulldoon... 5 adventurers dead.
We get rewarded with experience and items for killing monsters... they should equally be rewarded for making kills.

I agree, the problem is that it is probably difficult to implement. But i like the Idea, a bounty board of sorts telling of difficult monsters to slay for an reward.
Anyway Txa1265 is right that this feature is not an "must have" but I personally feel that it is a little bit cool to have this feature, most profesional mercs / soldiers keeps a tight track on which enemies they have defeated, weak spots they learned about the enemy etc.
Oh and I wasn't clear with my first post, I just wanted this thread to be an place everyone could come with their suggestions about what they would like to see in this game (or perhaps in a game of this kind).

That makes it sound like some MMORPG or something ...

i like his idea, it puts/blends the information into the game in a 'plausible' wrapper, rather then just listing dry statistics off the main game menu.
isn't it interesting how many "cool" thinks we could think to add to rpg games if we were all developers/programmers? :) if it wasn't for stupid 'time' we'd have an rpg to play for years :)

Please Please Please....
If your lock pick rate is at say... 95% PLEASE Give the character the ability to open lower level locks faster! If the highlight bar were to move faster for a higher % pick rate that would make life so much better.
Example: Im dungeon crawling with my friends but I cant help search or battle since im still backed up with things to open. Those things take forever it feels like.
I think this would greatly enhance gameplay and sorry if this is already been posted somewhere.
THanks!!

This has indeed been discussed at some length. Chuck22, one of the DL team, has posted that one of the things they already changed for the final release is a cap on the pick rate speed. It was also suggested by a few of us to have locks automatically pop if the % is above some threshold but that was never responded to, so doubt it will happen.
