BooH problems

I just got Painkiller: BooH today. The hang keeps hanging during the first 10 - 30 minutes of the game and i need to reboot my PC, this does not happen to the original Painkiller game but only happens to PK:BooH. I tried updating my game to 1.62 but the problem still occurs during the first 10 - 30 mins of play. Someone please help me, im getting annoyed by this error.

Windows XP Pro SP1
AMD Athlon XP2600+ 1.91 GHz
ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB (Already got drivers)
768MB RAM
Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer
Abit NF7 nForce 2 Ultra400

try turning down your video settings and defrag your hardrive and make sure all your drivers r up to date if this don't work the 1.61 patch u install is possibly bad try redownloading patch 1.61 from gamershell and reinstall the game reapply the 1.61 patch than apply the 1.62-1.64 patches
