I know this is a kind of pointless thread, but I've seen a few people ALWAYS posting up Kalme's site out of sheer laziness of wanting to help, and they suggest cheating is the way to go? I can see they haven't been able to get through painkiller without cheats.

Not that this is help, but www.planetpainkiller.com does have things on painkiller that may be of help!

I just highly suggest against cheating, don't take the easy way out, that's no fun, nor is it making the game challenging and actualy enjoyable, struggling tells you're actualy sorta learning the game, and the more you struggle, the better you'll get.

After getting painkiller, I've never really even went to the forums for help, at least from what I remember I didn't. So again, just try. And use a bit of common sense of course.

Well, my site not only contains cheats, but also videos of every secret in BOOH, and other helpful clips and things (think of the tarot card guide for example). Also people don't recommend Powermad just for cheating, but because it also contains a lot of fixes for this game, too. Without those fixes, you wouldn't be able to complete the five stars challenge for Painkiller and BOOH, for example.

PainKilla, I agree with Kalme too anyway, and I think we should offer His BOOH-page too for BOOH's Secrets. Those are such as great Secret-videos like those what AtaRi did on PKHell.com... But anyway, if someone wants to be a really "fair-player", he doesn't even peek Secret-videos...

BTW Kalme, did You know that a Hungarian game-magazine, called GameStar (http://www.gamestar.hu/alapbox.php?cmd=newgs1) put up Your BOOH-videos onto the magazine's DVD? Congratulations! However a bad news: they didn't mention Your name and the place where the videos can be found originally...

How do you do that? I was never able to get the buried ammo box in Ruins. And since all the bugs are fixed that increased your destroyed objects counter (shooting stakes into fire etc.), you should be missing three objects in Abandonded factory? Am I missing something?

Now that is VERY interesting, because Gamestar originally is a German game-magazine. Are the contents of the DVD listed somewhere on the site? And you're sure these are my videos?

Well, I also couldn't do it, while the Guardian was holding his hammer, and Doomer also reported the same at our Hungarian PK-topic. So You must shoot away his hammer first. Then it still will be a luck-thing, but once You'll get the ammo. It may need some reloads, that's sure... But this method surely doesn't work well on Trauma, because You'll loose too much energy when that damned Guardian slap You... :)

But I still know at least 2 different variants, what still works! ;) One is still useful in "Abandoned Factory", and it's very easy to use. You must blow up some Maso Commanders (the "I LOVE MOM"-guys) with stakes: so shoot a stake into their weapons' tube, and they will explode. And every time You do this, check the Statistics, and You will see that the "Destroyed Objects" value has been increased... You still can make more than 157 "Destroyed Objects" with this method...
The other variant what still works is in BOOH's "Loony Park": if You shoot stakes into the cart, while You're "rollercoasting" (is that a word?), the program will increase the "Destroyed Objects" value...

About GameStar... Huh, I don't know it for sure: I mean, I also know it's originally a German game-magazine, but we can buy it in Hungary too for years. Maybe the Hungarians bought the licence, or what? I don't know... But I'm completely sure about I saw Your videos exactly on the DVD: one of my buddy brought that issue of the magazine to me, and I checked the DVD for some PK-stuff. I found a nice gameplay-video what was done by BOE/GS.hu, and I also found Your videos..I was shocked on them, because they were exactly the same: I watched some of them and I did a size-comparison too, and all of them was the same as Yours, so they were Your videos. GameStar just made one mistake: they didn't mention at all that from where they origins (at least it wasn't on the DVD, but I don't know about the magazine, although I don't think they did it in that)... :(
I dug up that issue's content-page for You: it just describes what's in the magazine and on the DVD. It's here: GameStar 2005/01 (http://www.gamestar.hu/kommentek_tartalom.php?sid=66). It's in Hungarian, but You can find two PKBOOH-related stuff on that page. The first is BOE's work (under "Játékbemutatók", what means about "game-introductions"), and the second is Your work: it's "Painkiller: BoH" under "Tippek trükkök", what means "tips tricks"...

You're right, I forgot the "I love mom"-guys! By the way all these bugs will be fixed in the next Powermad release. There's also a third variant (which also will be fixed then): using the bolt gun, you can increase your destroyed objects counter by two if you shoot at a barrel (don't aim directly at it, but a little bit off, so that the two outer bolts hit the barrel).

You know, I also found all Secrets by myself, and I know, it was a hard work..and I also know that You even had to record the ways, what made it even harder and longer. WOW, those bugs can be fixed from the scripts? That sounds great! I hate when I do more "Destroyed Object" than the maximum, and I don't need that bug in "Abandoned Factory" anymore, because of PM's fixes. By the way, yes I also know about the BoltGun-bug, that was mentioned by Ari de Verci, but PCF still hasn't fixed it yet. I think, it's more easier to trigger this bug when You use a Haste card: if there are some barrels near each other, then You just blow up one barrel, what will blow up the others soon, but You'll have the time to shoot many bolts into them, in that little time... ;)

I also wanted to ask one thing, for a while. You mentioned a fix in PM's description: "Integrated Stone Pit missing two chest at the beginning fix" - well, I indeed often experienced that I missed two objects at the end, what was quite frustrating (114/116 at least 3 times, and I knew, I destroyed everything). Although I still can correct the "Destroyed Objects" number with the BoltGun-bug (so I use to use it to fix this problem), I don't like that way... So, what does this fix mean exactly? Is there two (more) destroyable objects at the very beginning? I think, You don't refer to that two treasure-chest at Secret #1... But then where should they be? Before the very 1st CheckPoint? If that fix brings up to more objects, than that will be great...

...it makes it look as if you accept his words about cheating, especially when you brag about not doing it yourself, yet you go on to say how qlitches in the program allow you to exploit it, which is basically the same.

Anyone can see all the contradictions included in Painkilla's riduculous words, yet you put in a response not saying anything was overboard, but only to add more boasting of the 5 star and the lack of cheats yourself. Can you not see how this looks?
