Can't find my CD-KEY

Hi, I bought the game online and it just arrived today at 8:55 am EST... I am looking all over the box and I cannot find the CD-Key! Any help? :-\

I don´t remember where mine was, but it might be different based on countries or special releases.

But if it isn´t there, you might have been cheated or a corrupt copy. In that case, you might have alittle hope of finding a program that can extract the 001, 002 and 003 files on the CDs/DVD.

No.. I figured out the problem.. I had JUST bought the Painkiller Gold Edition as soon as it came out. The problem is that the game came with the retail box, a cardboard sleeve, 6 disks ( in 6 separate paper cd sleeves ) in that cardboard sleeve, a manual and a few other things. There is no CD case to print the cd-key on and they said it should be on the case ( but the gold edition doesn't come with a cd case i guess lol ).

Anyway.. I finally found out what to call and I called them at 10:00 am Monday morning ( desperate i was! ) and they told me to take a pic of the first 3 CDs and to email it to support@dreamcatchergames.com which i did and I got an email an hour later with my new cd-key.

I don't know whose fault it is ( if anyone's ) but there was no cd-key and I bought the game retail. All is well now... but now I have a NEW issue in that the PK++ Updater is acting weird..

Maybe that's because the Gold Edition already has a higher version number. When you start the game, what version is printed in the menu to the top right?

I also have no CD key, Im sending their tech support an e-mail with a scan of my first 3 cd's to see if theyll hand me a key.

Whoever does these guys CD manufacturing needs to be shot in the knees with rock salt.

The Best Buy I bought mine at today had 5 copies all without cd keys.. I wouldn't be surprized if many more are like this, they should put something on the main site so people know this is going on, it would have save me an hour of driving.. Im pissed :mad:
