Pretend the devs at HP have asked us to design a weapon/item to be found somewhere in the world of Dungeon Lords. What weapon/item would you create if you could? Give it a name, what kind of weapon/item (sword, axe, hammer, staff, bow, ring, trinkets, belts, armor etc) it is and what magic properties it has (kind of magic damage, what enhancements to your characters abilities) and anything else you can think of. Give the weapon/item a back story if you want too, just don't make it a novel;) These are just guidelines. Since we, or at least I, don't know about all the monsters in the game, and about the laws of magic and all that lore, feel free to take poetic license. Here's mine.

Mindagar's Legacy

Mindagar was a warrior of great prowess and reputation. It is said that his will was unbreakable and that his enemies frooze at the sight of him. He had fought and defeated enemies great and small. However, he knew that time and age even he could not defeat, for though he had survived many a grave and near fatal wound, age would eventually whither him like every other living being. So in an attempt at some form of immortality, he comissioned the creation of a magic longsword, and so Mindagar's Legacy was forged. The blade was made unbreakable like his will, and sharper then any other and made by the finest dwarven craftsmen. The hilt was inbedded with a special, magical sapphire blue jewel, both made by the finest elven craftsmen, and this jewel gave the sword the cold touch of ice that would freeze the wielders enemies just as Mindagar's very presence had done. Finally, Mindagar sought he most powerful mage he could find, and had his very soul and fighting spirit bound to the weapon for all time. The weapon was placed into a special tomb with an inscription on the door that read. "Herein lies a very powerful sword, and any may claim it, they can survive to take it." For only a true warrior deserved to wield his legacy.

On Hit: Enemies are froozen by ice and done ice damage
Unbreakable: The sword will not wear out and need repairing like lesser blades
+10 to strike, +5 to strength, agility, vitality.
+ 3 to diabolic skill: bleeding wound

...what happened to this Genie/Lamp nobody really knows, perhaps it was buried/lost too many times, dropped too often, or asked for the same thing once too many times in its lifetime...all that is known, is that as soon as the lamp is rubbed, one hears an angry Genie scream and shoot a spell at anything in front of it. Eventually it was learned that one should always point the lamp away from oneself...

on use:
can be used X times a day to cast a random level (based on a random stat-so equally usefull to all classes) offensive spell at the enemy, Y% (small-affected by luck skill?) of backfiring :) but at half of same random level.
