Not sure if anyone here subscribes to Wired! magazine, but they mentioned Dungeon Lords as their PC game to watch for. This is good advertising for the game I think. The short description the reviewer gives is pretty glowing. Let's hope this draws a some new fans to the fold. :D

I am hooked already...just on the demo. I have been watching the dev. of the game for a long time, and after playing the demo, I pre-ordered my copy.

EB says it ships today!! (wink wink)
Maybe I'll get it before anyone else!!! (evil laugh)

I keep coming back to the demo... just firing it up, because it scratches that RPG itch that none of the current games on my shelf seem to do as effectively.

Typically, I'm not a fan of dungeony hack-n-slash, preferring more story-centered games like Fallout and Planescape. However, the dungeon experience in this game is so **** good that I can't wait to get in there and start bashin' some heads (especially in multiplayer)!

I think what I noticed most was the "design" of the dungeons. You could tell someone really put a lot of thought into how the whole dungeon ties together. I expect the rest of the world (cities, towns, etc.) will have the same level of well-thought-out detail. Fingers crossed....

yeah i really need a game like this im so bored its not funny i dont like the boring hack and slash dungeon games either (unless there good with a good story / characters etc , crap is like diablo that is beyond crap)

I just cant wait to start looting and saving up gold and finding cool weapons and exploring the cities.

I dont know if they mentioned this but i wonder if we meet every race in the game like a character from the race do they all have there own captail city in the game? that would be cool if the urgoths had one prolly attack you though if your human or something.

I am also intrested in seeing how the story line ends up falling. Will there be shops in town to spend gold? And if so, how will the interactions wtih shops and or vendors be? I can't wait to find out.

Looking forward to the release. Mowwind is the best, but it is time for a fresh adventure. I can't stop playing the demo of DL.

well yes i would bet there are going to be shops and merchants, in fact i would be very surprised if there were not shops..

but let us stop and talk a while about the history of shops in our society today and what that means for us socially? ;) just kidding people

Ahhh, the history of shops, and shopping and it's effects on man kind........ :-)

I'll be very interested to see if there is a haggle system, and if items are worth more at a Smith shop, then at say, a General goods shop. I am really anticipating the AI and improvements as well. Are NPCs just gonna hang out at the same place, or wander, or follow a script path....... So many questions that I can't wait to find out.

Well, off to Race in Sports Car Racing for a bit (or maybe some Morrowind)
