Docks, secrets on cranes

Since you people are making movies and i've never seen a recorded jump on those high cranes i made one myself. I first was testing on how to make the jump since i've neven succeded that jump, after trying several times i figured it out where to make the jump and then started recording. It toke me about 15 try's to record it due to the low frames but i succeded.
The video shows the second crane and the way down with as less as possible damage. It's just a very poor quality but if someone is interested in making it better i can send him the fraps recorded video's (25 fps) so he can make a decent video.

...up until the point you drop all the way down off the 2nd crane, which leaves you not being able to get the Holy Item on the final crane. You also are in a much worse position to protect yourself in dropping down there.

I'm going to make some high quality vids of those jumps and descents with sound, recorded in 60FPS, and using a better compression codec. They will play in 640 x 480 size, and have the same visual quality of this one, which is my final retouching of the sampler I put made for my upcoming docks series.

I will, however, be using only the free version of Fraps, so mine will be segmented. I may try to use Movie Maker to piece them together. I'm still in the learning process.

If there's one thing I have learned though, is to save the original uncompressed copy, and use the best methods to record, compress, and edit, as possible, so that once you dsiplay it, you won't have to redo it for those that want to keep it or display it elsewhere, thus patience is key, while in the learning process.

I repeat though, great job for 25FPS.;)

I completely forgot about that other secret, to be honest i hav'nt get it mysel yet only with powermad.
So far i believe this is the only secret so far i hav'nt taken myself, the secret in City on Water is easyer then these cranes.

...one with the Holy in that last crane now. I also added some stuff just for fun. I'm working within a tight 10MB file size to display them on the hosting site I use, so there are several of them, mostly 25 - 40 seconds in length each.

Since that good site Painkillerhell is gone i've looked for some movies of secrets on these cranes and i've found another site about painkiller. It's Frence but there are screens and movies and there's a great movie for these crane secrets. He takes all three secrets with a minimum of damage.

By looking at those movies i noticed when using the speed card long jumps are much easyer, i tryed that crane jump with the speed card and didn't have to make much effort to do it.

Hey, I liked your video, but...

Wow! That French site has produced two of the best Painkiller videos I've seen. They make me feel very very small indeed... The way those cranes are negotiated is truly awesome.
