How do you go up or down ladder.
I was in level 4 trying the ladder in the vents and I can not go up or down it??

Normally you would just approach the ladder and continue with your forward key. Mind you, you need to be the right side of the ladder to climb it.

To climb a ladder, you have to "use" it. Go forward until it stops you, press your "use" key, and you'll see your hands take hold of the ladder. Now go forward, and you'll go up. Backward is down. 'Jump' drops you off the ladder, if you ever need to do that.
