Thoughts on the Final Product

The game should soon be on dealer's shelves, anyone get it yet? I played through the demo and liked it enough I'll be getting it but I can't pick it up until Friday (payday). In the mean time I'd be interested in hearing spoiler free thoughts on the final product.

In the US, anyway, games are released on Tuesday, for in-store availability on Wednesday.

I have a nice little EBGames ~3 miles from work and I tend to hop over there on Wednesdays at lunch ...

When I get it, I will open a 'spoiler free' thread with impressions - stuff including installation, setup, settings, character creation, and so on. Then a bit of the 'feel'. I do like the demo, and like the movement / combat feel better than Gothic II, but I prefer the Jedi Knight II feel better still. I am hoping to tweak the sensitivity to get that same feel. I will certainly comment!

my ebgames usually gets the games on the ship date 90% of the time.

Just checked with gamestop and they said it won't be released till Friday (5/5/2005). Anyone else hearing the same thing from other retailers?

Looks like it ships Thurs. (5/5). Which means it should be in EB and Gamestop stores on Fri.

cant wait , does any one know if the game starts in the same place as the demo does was that the start of the game? and does any one know if there is movies in the game or just cut scenes?

Friday's acceptable here as I couldn't purchase it before then anyway. I was hoping it'd make it a few days before so I could at least read about while I wait.

My first thought on the retail is the price. $40. Nice...as most new games go for $50 and up.
