getting all ammo from babel

did anyone have trouble getting all the ammo from babel?.....im having trouble just finding 1...and im missing 1 thing to break too....i know in order to get the card u have to collect all the ammo....i dont know if this is a bug or not...i have the 1.64 patch installed....ive looked all over but cannot seem to find it....hmmmmmm

This is actually a very common problem for people in Babel. Back before all the useful threads got whacked, you probably could have found a dozen descriptions on what to do. I think it was also in one of Atari's videos before painkillerhell went away...

Hopefully somebody with a better memory can come back and post a detailed description about it, but the crux of the issue is where one part of the level has a big section of floor that crumbles away. If you don't get to the other side before the floor collapses, you *can* still get over there - but it's some pretty tricky jumping. If you do it right, then you find a secret area that will contain the one ammo box that you'll likely miss the first time (or several) through the level...

01 Ammo Boxes

Walk across the floor as it crumbles away, then climb the ramp before it too
falls away. Turn around once you reach the floor above and walk/jump across
the right side of the large hole, then take the right path around the wall up
ahead. Watch the wall as you walk along it and climb the ladder by the forth
arch. Jump the gap to reach a secret area, then grab the holy item, health and
ammo box inside. Drop down and jump across the large hole once more, then

Babel Crumbling Floor
To prevent yourself from falling through the collapsing floor and dying, you must do one of two things. You can either bunny hop as fast as you possibly can across to the other side of the crumbling floor OR you can take your chances and bunny hop to the opening immediately to your left that leads to the last secret to that one “missing” ammo box. If somehow you manage to survive the first coming and you find yourself and the front of the crumbling floor again and the floor isn’t there, all you have to do is to be very careful and scale the tiny ledge on the inner wall. It helps best if you bunny hop as much as you can on this small ledge, just make sure you stay close to the wall.

1) Run up the floor to the next tier quickly before it collapses under you.
2) Hop quickly to the pillars to the left as it's breaking.
3) Trigger the collapse, then hop back immediately, then hop along the little broken ledges to the right along the wall.
Both 2 and 3 take you to the same spot, where you can access the secret mentioned, athough oddly enough, 3 is never mentioned in any FAQ or walkthrough, yet it's the easiest method, if you want to get the secret with the ammo box.

Makes me wonder sometimes why they call them FAQ, some of them leave us Forever Answering Questions,:D ...though I'm always willing to pitch in.

thanks for the help guys that 1 secret got me to the ammunition and i got the card.....now gotta fight allistor....i think thats his name
