View Full Version : I was just informed DL is delayed in Canada till next week!??!
I called my EB,.. the guy I deal with always seems to be straight up with me. And told me dungeon lords won't be in his store till next week..
This is in Ottawa..
Anyone else have any info?
From what I gather.. After talking to another EB..I won't be playing DL till Monday...

alot of ppl that work at ebgames are dumb one time i called about Resident Evil Outbreak asking if its comming in tomorow and hes no he said something i dont remember but its comming in next next monday , did i belive him? of course not i know when its comming out **** retards.
I call the next day a different guy answers i ask him if he got it in and he said yes.
It will be there tomorow they always get them in , but some times might have to wait a few days it happens depends whats up with the shipping.
Although what you say is true.. I trust this guy,, Not to mention, if it doesn't come in tomorrow, it likely WON'T come in till Monday..
And he said he JUST got off the phone when I talked to him.. But, I guess anything can happen! So we'll know tomorrow!!
Comon, roll a 20.....

Here in Montreal, Qc, it's suppose to be in tomorrow. I called EB too and the guy told me tomorrow and the price was 39.99$ CAD. I hope it's true.

Yep, same here outside Toronto Canada. Can't remember the last time I payed as little as 39.99 for a new release....

I just called another EB and they said they will receive it tomorrow. So looks like it will be in.

VampireX I think that you're more of a fool then the guy at Eb. You expect everyone that gets paid minimum wage to know everything about every game. There are about 200 games in development right now WITH RELEASE DATES and you seem to expect this guy at your local EB to know whats going on with every publisher and every dev team. You are the fool, if he's incorrect about a date its because either the publisher has not informed corporate EB of a correct release date or corporate EB has not informed your EB guy. All he does is check his computer and read you the date.

heh no , there are alot of stupid people who dont know what there doing at there jobs your probably one of them.

Actually they usually just look it up on their computer, and it tells them when they're exspecting a shipment(If they don't know). I had a freind that lived in your town and he said they more often than not got things a week late, though maybe he was just trusting the guy on the phone to. :) Call back every couple hours and ask again :D

WOOHHOOO! I just checked my tracking and my DL arrived this morning at our local fed-ex stop. I wasn't exspecting it till monday, Like ottawa there is this one route if taken to our town that delays it (I've seen it sit at that spot for over a day :( ) HMMMM taking half a day is begining to seem more inticing.. Oh sorry, hopefully you'll get your today to Eron :D
I guess that is UPS when that happens though....

Seems I will get my copy today as well, FedEx says it's "on truck for delivery".
As for game store employees, it all depends on the store and individual. I've seen some shops where the employees are just there to punch register keys, I've seen some that are really into games and keep track of more than I would have thought they had time for. Fortunately my local EB games store has a couple of people that are interested in what they do for a living, so I tend to go back there when I buy games.

Im in Denmark waiting for it to hit the shops. I've called a few places; most insists that it is first being released May 20th, so I keep telling them that isnt the case. However one place said it would be in hopefully on monday, so looks like a gamefree week :-[ (well ok at least DL free :D)
Funny enough one I drove past one of the shops coming from work. The salesman couldnt find it in his computer. However he found something called Dungeon Lords which he said was gone out of production according to his machine.....weird computer shop....

Yep, looks like it's going to be delayed. None of the EB in Montreal got the game in today's shipments. It might be delayed for a week. The original thread poster was right I believe.

called eb they have the game in just like i said.
But now that i know it has no right handed models , im not gonna buy it until a patch is out adding it :)
