Patching problem

I just purchased Enigma Rising Tide and don`t understand how to patchig the game properly because is not advanced PC user. So may be someone could help me to do this.
During running process of the Patch called `enigma_uk_gpatch i have error `Bad game install, watch warfleet.net for details on the upcoming multiplayer version`.
maybe rong versions of patch and the game or something else?

Assuming (since youre posting here) you own a USA version of the game, it is Gold or Retail? (says Int. Gold on the cover for that version)

If you have the US Retail, you just need to grab the US213->Gold Patch

If you have the US Gold you dont need any patches

If you dont have any of the US versions you need to :
Int Gold : grab MiniGold Patch
Int. Retail: Grab your_version#->Gold.

Actually i have a russian licensed version by `Russian Distribution Company` and
could not understand UK of US version i have as well.
There is english and russian language variants on the disk.
Well, i really don`t know what to do and believe it is possible to patch my distribution version.

Actually the russian edition is "stolen" it is released by GMX without permission from the developer, (contract violations and so on), if there is an english version of the game on the CD you could try patch that with the patch "UK201->GOLD".

It is highly doubtable there ever will be a patch for the russian version, aswell as many other illegal distobutions.
