Thought this might help, once dev's read this.
Please post in this thread, and descibe the bug/error in detail.
Include your Operating system, Ram, CPU speed, Type of Error (Gameplay, Inventory, UI, AI, Collision, Functionality, Etc.)
and details of the error and how to reproduce it.
Hopefully this thread can be a sticky and a helpful resource for the Dev's.

Example:

OS: Win XP CPU: Athlon XP 1900 Ram: 1 GB
Error Type: Functionality

Details: User is unable to choose extra features when creating a new character

How to reproduce: Create new character, advance to SEX, RACE menu, Observe.

Expected Result: User should be able to choose different features when creating character.


Bugs posted might be ones that will already be fixed when the patch comes out, but we might find some that they were not aware of :)

Hopefully, this will catch on, and there wont be 100 different threads on the same bugs :) Until then, keep playing! :)

These are a few bugs I have come along while playing. I will add more as I think of them.

System specs:
Windows XP, 3400 AMD64, 1.5 gb ram, 9800 XT, SBLive

Error type: Collision/AI

Details: Small doorways cause mobs to get stuck and just stack up there in the doorway. Seems they collide w/ each other and can't get room to get through. Suggest you allow them to path through each other to move into doorway or fix pathing (likely more difficult)

How to reproduce: Run around till you get a group of mobs on yourself. Run into a doorway.

Expected results: Mobs should be able to follow you through doorways.

Error type: UI

Details: Arrow keys (< and >) in options menu don't work. You need to use the slider to change options.

How to reproduce: Go into menus and attempt to change options w/ arrows

Expected results: You should be able to use the arrow keys to change options.

Error type: UI

Details: System locks up for split second when changing races when making character.

How to reproduce: Try to make a character and change race.

Expected results: The game shouldn't lock up or jerk when loading a model. Perhaps load all race models into memory before loading character screen so they can be switched to quickly, without additional loading.

Error type: Sound

Details: Sound is messed up. Seems sound is heard for a while then is cut out at random intervals. Can be seem specifically when running, footsteps are heard on and off.

How to reproduce: Run for 10 seconds with your character

Expected results: Sound should be consistant throughout the game.

Error type: Sound

Details: Delayed sound. Can be seen in splashes for water and some combat audio.

How to reproduce: Jump into water...Splash sound is played a split second after landing. Fight something.

Expected results: Sound effects need to be adjusted to play when they should.

Error type: Functionality

Details: Game locks up for a split second every time an encounter is spawned.

How to reproduce: Run around till an encounter spawns. Probably 75% of the time the system locks up for a bit

Expected results: Game should run smoothly when encounters spawn.

Error type: Gameplay

Details: Jailor in fargrove jail has messed up pathing. Often have to enter and leave jail several time to get him to move into jail to let you talk to criminal.

How to reproduce: Goto jail house in fargrove and attempt to access jail cells.

Expected Results: Should be able to talk to jailor and have an option for him to open the jail cell door for you or you should be able to open it yourself with shift key.

Error type: Sound

Details: Lack of music. This may just be an oversight and its intended for their to be no music during gameplay but the music in menu and cinematic were great so hope this is not the case

How to reproduce: Play the game...There is no sound

Expected results: An essential part of retail games now a days is music. Seems there should be some in this game....

Details: Voiceover volume to low. Can be raised in options but is still far to low compared to other catagories.

How to reproduce: Attempt to talk to an NPC

Expected results: Voiceovers should be the same loudness as other catagories when at the same level of volume.

I'll repost one of the "Bugs" from my thread (as I like this one better) and I'll just use this one from this point on....

System Specs: Pentium 4 1.3ghz, 512mb ram, GeForce FX5700 256mb vid

the first bug I posted was the "scroll reselling" bug but I saw that addressed in the patch sticky so I wont repeat it..

Error Type: Sound(?)

Details: Wandering female NPC in first town has male voice attached.

A couple more:

Quest Log not updating properly when quests are completed. So far both the catacombs and the wizard's letter delivery quests in the first town still show as active even though I have completed them and moved on to Arindale.

There are no fires inside the Arindale inn (anywhere). Making resting there (even after purchasing a room) impossible.

Error type: Game crash.

Details: Game crashes when attacking a large group of enemy in the slums. Game acts as if it was TABBED switched and then get the Windows crash dialog with the "don't send" button.

How to reproduce: I've been able to reproduce this consistantly with two or more people joined in a multiplayer game.

Expected results: Should be able to battle the groups you encounter without the game crashing.

Note: This also crashed on a different system hosting as well (specs: Pentium 4 3000 MHz, 1024 MB RAM (Dual Channel), ATI 8500 128 MB).

This one involves the quest given by the Lord in the first town to go and speak to his daughters maid. During your conversation with her she mentions you need to speak with someone in town. If you go and talk to this person before speaking to the Lord again it seems to *reset* this quest so that you have to go and talk to the maid again and then go directly to the Lord to activate the next quest...

1. When using the CTRL key for free camera mode, the camera doesn't seem to reset when you let go of the key. The manual says it should when you start walking. I've had to reset it manually.

2. Not a bug, but a suggestion, boxes/barrels should dissapear after you've destroyed them.

3. Character continues moving when you let go of movement keys.

I'll post a more comprehensive list later, but I noticed you can no longer double-tap the directional keys and roll in any direction like you could in the demo. Why they would lock out that feature I have no idea.

side roll and back flip also just takes more points to access them,if you go to the character screen 'c' key and hover your mouse over the skills it will tell you how many points you need.

How to reproduce: Press 'V' in game, set mouse invert and sensitivity, restart game.

Expected Result: Setting should be restored when game is started.

Justa quick note, might not work with everyone, try pausing the game (press esc) while you are low on health...you regen while game is paused lol. works with me, but can some other peeps test this one? make sure its not just me :)

loading a game makes my screen flash

sometimes on game runtime from desktop the main menu screen apears in the uper left corner and not the full screen size / but if i play the game it is full size .. just menu

and the M = map key dont work ? dont know if thats a bug or just not yet avalable

on normal - random encounters - the enemies seam to frequent
its like i get dun killen 10 rats then i turn around to open a chest and when im dun .. or even suner .. thers 10 more but at least i get xp and tails lol

these are only bugs i have sofar

The jury is still out on the map situation, still waiting for someone to find the "scout" skill...

as far as the normal random encounter setting, don't see how that's a bug, if you *feel* the encounter rate is too high (I don't have a problem with it) thats why they gave you the option to lower it...

Another piece of stupdity for the list, was running along the catacombs and opened a coffin only to get pinned up against the wall by the coffin lid unable to move thus having to quit the game and reload.

OMG, I see a lot of non critical bugs being posted that sound absoulutely silly to me.. For example, Game shouldn't jerk or stutter when loading a texture in character creation..

First off, I don't have this problem. At least not very severe to be considered a bug..

And second.. WTF? Even if it did jerk a little bit at the character gen screen, WHO GIVES A CRAP?

Anyhow.. I am going to post anything odd I find that I consider REAL bugs..

Yeah I had the coffin thing happen with me as well. During multi with Callktulu I started typing before the game was fully loaded although I could see the screen and I "teleported" to the infamous top of the mountains that so many of us tried in the demo. I have no idea how I did it or what key combo I pushed but it sucked since you cant join games in progress on gamespy. The multi aspect is the most dissapointing to me since I was so keen on that aspect of the game. Oh well.

whats the "CD KEY" for if you dont use it ?

and also you dont need CD to play the game so dont wory about making copys lol

it seams to me the game is a somewhat tuched up version of the demo - not much of a big change

the NPC's can talk your leg off lol one guy i meet "Mage Alester" had 30 topics to talk about and the sound of his voice would be a difrent tone "LOUD" on most of them and quiet on thers almost to the point you cant hear him - same as in demo....

their was a lady? walking in the streats with a mans voice lol
i have encounterd alot of "BUGS" like this that make you just stop and think ... geee dident anyone ever beta test this ?...lol ;)

i forgot to mention - is there a way to load and exsisting character in to a multi player game and not start at level 1 i thought you wher saposed to be able to do that? import-export ? :confused:

Pain sting doesnt do anything. Only a small leaning forward animation (not even any cool color-lighting effects :( ) is done, nothing else.


Reproduce by: Casting pain sting.

What it should do: According to the instructions, it should do some damage.

i found a new 1 yeay lol if you stand on a bar counter then jump to a rafter you can stand on top of it but you get your head stuck in the cealing lol and cant get out :eek:

I have been playing this game for several hours now and I love it so far. However, it seems strange that the "junk" section on the iventory screen doesn't work. I had collected a ton of Goblin swords and got to sell exactly one! I know the folks who made this game are working on a patch but it really grinds my backside that I just spent $40.00 on a game just to beta test it. Come on folks, get with the program and stop releasing junk. I would like to ask why there is no haggle function with merchants? I guess you just pay and get paid whatever price is set? Don't get me wrong folks I am totally jazzed about this game, I feel that it has some great potential, it just hasn't been realized as of yet.

I agree. Sacred was a great game, but buggy. Once they got it patched, it was great, but, it had alienated a large portion of its fan base due to functionality issues.

Couple more from tonight:

When selecting to train in the Budoka class from the trainer in the House of the Tiger in Arindale, he listed the requirments for accepting the class and then told me I met those requirments and could begin my quest even though I did not meet those reqs.

I completed my initiation into The Sisterhood, shortly therafter I started the Way of the Tiger quest and the quest to get the armor for the elven lord all concurrently. When I returned to the elven lord with the armor he informed me that, among other things, Elvithra's son had been returned safely, even though I never found him in the castle and the quest log still shows the quest active. When I returned to Elvithra she simply stated that the apothecary was closed and would not speak to me...

1. No fire-places in the Arindale Inn - a bad thing.

2. Major dialogue correction needed when talking to Emmindor after finishing the Elven quest in Arrindale. He said that there were spellbooks and magic baubles below him and that you could take whatever you wanted - NOTHING was in the room. No furniture, nothing.

3. Several monsters use the same sound effects. Example; Falthein Witches in Ulm use the Falthien Elite sound effects - not cool.

4. No background music - a major flaw, but interesting non-the-less.

5. Money exploits concerning selling 100 lockpicks to the Apothecary in Arindale. I have over 50000 gold for doing that repeatedly.

6. The Junk Menu is not implemented correctly. Nothing resides within it.

All I can think of at the moment.

My point is simply this.

There is NO way that they did not know that this game was full of bugs. Yes, I was waiting (and expecting for it to get pushed back again) for this game, I pre-ordered it and got pissy whenever they pushed it back. However, I'd rather WAIT for a game that is not full of bugs rather than have one that at times is barely playable. At the VERY least, they could have a patch waiting and ready.

Pushing out a game "Just to meet a deadline" regardless of whether or not it is finished is total BS. Its sad that its become so acceptable lately that we just sit back and wait for a patch while people tell us to be patient.

If your FOOD came half cooked, or half prepared, you'd send it back screaming...

Please lemme know what bugs you have been experiencing... crashes?

the goblin/doorway crash seems odd, as we have run ALOT of testing lately and things have been quite stable (we will look at the slums crash some more).

constructive information would be very helpful, whatever info anyone has will help immensely. If you have a crash, if you don't run the game again, you can get the debug.log file from the root directory, copy the text, and email it to me at CHUK22_HP@hotmail.com.

Here's a couple I've run into, posted them in other threads but figure they should go here as well.

1. The Shadows setting in options doesn't do anything. Not even after restarting the game.

2. The game seems to requires that you exit the game completely for graphical options to take effect..minor I know, but I doubt its supposed to work this way.

3. The save/load screens don't display what appears is supposed to be a screenshot to the left of the save description.

4. Been mentioned, but enemies getting stuck in doors is really annoying.

5. The scripting/AI for NPCs like the priest in the Fargrove Monastary, and the Jailer in Fargrove jail seems to be buggy. Very ofter they won't follow through and open the doors for you. At first, I though this was a game ending bug as I couldn't go see the Celestine because of it. After leaving and comming back a few times, he opened the door. Same thing at the jail...

And some things that aren't so important but would be nice...

1. The character run animation doesn't stop for a couple of seconds after you stop moving.

2. Many enemies won't run down steps.

Oh, and wolves packs are a real pain in the *** :p

I've had the typical bugs (i.e. no maps, no custom characters, annoying flickering on load). I've had no problems with the music in the game, although it seems to me that even though I have speech at 100%, sound effects, and ambient also at 100%, the speaking volume is really low on NPCs like the shopkeepers. Am I going deaf, or is anyone else having that issue? I'm starting to suspect it is a sound card thing, but I have a laptop and my sound card is not easily replaced.

Are you saying that you HAVE background music, or that you don't care that it's not there?

The only place I have background music is on the main menu. None in game...

Judging by the fact that there is only one song in the 'music' folder, I don't think there is any music.

Fire places are broken, unless they are supposed to be invisable. The only place they've been on for me is the Fargrove Inn..

1.) Dialog between Character & Elvithra.
-If you click the dialog button to start the quest for the elven armor too soon she introduces herself, asks you what you want and starts talking about the quest all at once. her husband comes out, attacks her and even if you kill him she doesn't say anything else and it kills the quest.

2.) Refresh rate.
-I know I have sensitive eyes but for some reason I can SEE the screen refreshing during gameplay. I haven't seen anyone mention it yet so I thought I would. It doesn't matter what Rez/Ref Rate you put it on it always shows up.

3.) Quest from Narako.
-If even if you hit continue all the way if you don't listen to the full story of the chinese elven woman (I swear something about that last statement doesn't sit well with me) You can't continue the quest but you can return and talk to her again.

4.) Quest from Narako.
-If you walk too far forward after telling her you walk the path of the tiger she doesn't continue into the room. However, if you walk backward you hit the trigger point and she continues.

5.) Loading times.
-Some of the load times to enter different areas and certain buildings are completely insane. It takes me 3-5 minutes to enter the damned inn in Airendel. I know it isn't system requirements because I should be able to eat this game alive with my current PC.

I don't seem to have that problem, my PC is far above the recommended specs as well...if you've been playing a while when this happens it may be do to the likely, but unconfirmed, memory leaks...

Nope, even on a fresh load while loading a save game if I am in the inn for instance it takes about 5 minutes to load up.

My game just randomly closes itself, no error given or anything, I'll just be in the middle of playing, could be combat, or running, or jumping and poof, the game just closes and i'm at my desktop with nothin, no error or anything. Anyone else experiencing this?

I am stuck in emmindors tower i have talked to him and now i can't get back down the elevator that brought me up doesn't seem to go back down and there are no stairs or anything

also i notice that my heraldrys don't seem to give me any bonuses and the + to damage stat doesn't seem to add any damage to my attacks

That's weird....maybe it's having trouble rendering the invisible NPCs, tables, chairs and such in the inn....I think if you stick some points in the 'See Stuff' skill, it might not have to run that script..

Well, now I have run into not being able to get that chinese elven chick (ugh, that phrase again, it isn't right) to continue the quest once I tell her I follow the path of the tiger. ARGH!

I think I may wander around just randomly slaying **** until they get this damned thing fixed. heh.

no one will repair my shields. I click on the repair tab, select the shield, hit repair, they say "thank you" and my shield is still beat up.

Merchants wont buy lock picks? Maybe thats intentional for some merchants, but it should at least say so.

i am unable to access the options from in the game.


hitting esc only gives save/load/exit. someone posted on another thread about recieving two CD2's and after installing they were able to access options but not save their game. when they used the other disc they could save but no options.

i guess its not that bad since most of the stuff in the options menu doesn't work right!

Details: Celestial Guild Upgrade Path. Paladin requirements not met though still allowed to quest for class.

How to reproduce: Perform Celestial Initiation Quest. Go to Celestial Monastery. Click Paladin when asked about Class request.

Expectation: Though it's great it will let me quest, I would expect to be told that I would need to increase my Celestial Magic from 1 to 5 and my Rune Magic from 0 to 5 per the requirements. Not sure if after defeating shadow lord I will be asked to increase these skills but the monastery guy told me I met the requirements when I didn't.

If you're going to let us drown, we should at least know how much time we have left...

On that note, besides jumping into deep water from high above, is there even a way to submerge while swimming?

I have to second this! We played 4-player today, and it was a bit tough. It would be most excellent if the friendly fire setting worked!

I had this problem too, much more so in multiplayer than in single player. My system is a Pentium 4 3ghz with 1 gig of ram, and a ATI 9600 XT 128mg. We timed one of the loads at 3.5 minutes, and I think another one might have even been longer.

Problem: Periodic visible screen refreshes during gameplay.
Screen will go completely dark for a moment, then return. Frequently noted near mob spawn stutters, but that isn't consistent.

How to Reproduce: Play game, run around for a few minutes.

Additional notes: Running at 800 x 600, refresh rate 85hz.

*Bugs noted :

*Arendale inn : No furniture, no campsite, empty of people.
*Temple,Hall of Weapons, Aphotecary : No Furniture, just plain empty.
*Missing automap, at least the key bound with automap does not function.
*Quest requirements off (can do any quest even without fullfilling requirements).
*No in game music (or possibility to add music in that folder and get it playing).
*The autoexec.kdb file needs explaining if it is supposed to able the advanced user to customize setting or add things like winamp execution with songs etc...
*Rat pack higly effective and seems to allways hit even when you have 20Armor, this should be fixed since it is just plain stupid to get killed by an pack of rat when you are heavily armored.
*Weapons and armor should state what their skill requirements are to use without penalty, at the moment just phys stats stated.
*Male voices on Female NPC.
*Ghost towns.
*NPC voiceover drops/raises, no consistent volume.
*Sneak skill useless? At least in SP it is impossible to surprise an monster and hit it from behind, skill should at least make you sort of invisible untill the first strike. If not it should be an % increase of doing an critical hit with 2x , 3x, 4x , 5x multiplier with certain weapons like daggers.
*Perfomance problems due to memory leak, logs indicate that the game uses more and more memory and starts to hang after a while and loading times increasing from 10seconds to about 100seconds.

More issues which should be improved :
Road should be more gray / it can be hard to distinguish from time to time.
An skill three should be made avaible to the player so one could choose what path one wishes to go.
Class quests should be clearly stated which class they give you.
Water just looks horrible.
Arendale should have more pathways between the houses.
Ingame clock of some sort, It would be very nice to see what time of the day it is, could be made like an small sun / moon going on its cycles besides the compass.
Weather effects just like rain should be implemented.

Some of these have already been stated but I made list before reading thread so...

SP + MP BUG/Quirks

1. Can’t drop just one charge of something
2. No Load/Options while in a game
3. Almost no campfires, None in Arindale’s inn?
4. Haven’t found map yet.
5. Mage must be fighter also at beginning
6. No screenshots on the saves
7. Duplicates discarded not going to junk
8. Items drop by creatures disappear too quickly (sometimes before I can finish off the fifth guy of a group.
9. Menu sceen Flashes badly while loading game
10. Gold cheat with scrolls
11. In-game menu don’t resize with res, print too small so I have to stick with default
12. After reload same already opened chest appear closed when not
13. Arrows on option menus do not work
14. Voices are too low even at 100 with music at 4
15. After res change have to restart game for it to take effect
16. Some options still don’t work, (shadows, difficulty, etc.)
17. Fall off the wrong bridge in Fargrove and your stuck for life
18. Really annoying load times and jumpiness after load even at lowest settings

SP Only

1. When paused spells rejuve, health regens, monster spawn timer still ticks

MP Only

1. Safe mode and difficulty setting don’t work
2. Camping/Area transition must do as group (together)

Quest Log not updating properly when quests are completed. So far both the catacombs and the wizard's letter delivery quests in the first town still show as active even though I have completed them and moved on to Arindale.



not sure if anyone mentioned this but You have to wait for them to stop speaking and quest log updated/given. If you exit out of conversion after reading their text but not wanting to wait 5 more minutes for their voice over to finish it interupts updating quest...

I've seen the multiplayer teleport to edge of world issue mentioned a couple times here. My two kids and I have been playing quite a lot this weekend together and finally discovered a way around it, which also seems to suggest the cause.

We found that if the three of us all choose a different direction to move, and start trying to move in that direction before the zone finishes loading, then we don't get teleported. Most notable teleporting seems to be when leaving the Hall of Lords and a couple other buildings in Arindale. It appears that all three of us are being placed in a single location after zoning, the game pops two above the third, they fall into each other, and the two fallers get zoned.

Hmm seems like the customers are the real testers here..now if we can somehow request to get a check in the mail every so often.. :p

Anyways while me and my bro were playing multiplayer mode in DL, we encountered a bug after the Elven Trial.

After completion, we spoke to Emmindor, and he activated another quest. This, in turn, opened one of the 4 doors leading us out of the Hall of Lords. I left the room where Emmindor was, but my bro was still talking to Emmindor (maybe wanted to activate the quest himself). The door closed behind me sealing by bro the room (the door couldn't open for him). I went back into the room, the door opened up letting me in...after passing through, it then closed behind me, sealing us both in!
Now we're stuck int he room forever. Talking to Emmindor again didn't help either. :(

I noticed some dual wielding issues recently after acquiring the Marauder class and getting a chance to try it out, and it's rather vague in general regarding which skills are actually being used to compute effectiveness.

I was dual wielding a medium silver reaver axe in my primary slot, and a light bronze kris blade in my secondary. (character has 5 medium weapons skill, 6 light weapons skill, 1 light dual wield skill, 35 str). I had no penalty to wield the axe, but the bronze kris blade was supposed to give a -1 due to lack of skill; that penalty did not get applied when I equipped it in my secondary slot. Not a big deal, but seems buggy nonetheless.
Also, under the dual wield skill description is says that you get advanced strikes at skill lvl 5, but I was doing advanced strikes at skill lvl 1 in dual wield, since my skill was above or equal to 5 with each of the weapons involved. Is it supposed to work this way?
Is there a point to raising dual wield skill beyond what's required to use it at all or gain access to the next tier of skill (medium dual as opposed to light)? What happens if you have a high dual wield skill, but not so great individual weapon skills, or vice versa? Just wondering, things like this are rather unclear, so it's hard to tell what constitutes a bug.

Minor quest log bug: I still have the quest to deliver Aleister's letter to Davenmor in my log, long after doing so. It doesn't seem to affect anything though.

MAJOR storyline killing bug with Emmindor's quest:

When you talk to Emmindor the first time, he tells you to take the horn to the Chamber of Spirits in Talendor and then return to him. So you go there, use the horn, listen to that ghost dude talk about all the relics and stuff, and once he's done the quest log doesn't get updated! Meaning you can't return to Emmindor since the elevator room is locked, so basically the whole main story is broken and you can't continue the game at all!!

I can't play the game for 5 minuts without a crash...? I keep getting an error message about some dll.files, tried to reinstall but nothig helps. Could it be my computer? I have a Amd Athlon 2600+, Radeon 9800 pro 128, 1024 RAM. Or is the game just Ultra bugged.....

I have a much less system than you andd can play, though it might be the radeon drivers. I've heard nothing but problems with games and radeon video cards, that why I'll never buy anything but nvidia even if radeon is better peformance wise. If you have latest drivers try stepping back or useing the omega drivers.

Funny, I've had just the opposite experience. Three computers here, two nvidia one ATI, the ATI has always been the most stable. With the nvidia I am always switching drivers to get one game or another working, each driver set seems to fix problems for one game and create them for another.

:) Yes funny or maybe your just unlucky/lucky. Every game forum I've been on if they have troubles have 100s of posts about ATI trouble and only a few Nvidia. I myself have never had a single issue due to my video card with new games. Old games that have been sitting on shelf for years... yes but not not new ones...

For nvidiathe 70 series in particular has a lot of problems. Unfortunately there've been a couple games recently that don't work any drivers older that 71.89, but that driver caused problems with some of my existing games and in general seemed quite unstable. And I don't seem to be the only one that has had problems with the 70 series, there's a lot of complaints in various forums on those as well.

On the other hand, my ATI isn't necessarily new, it's a 9700 pro, so perhaps it's the stability of the hardware as much as the drivers and the fact that it lacks some of the latest features.

Yes I did mainly notice after going up to 70+ that my older games had issues, thought it might of been my new card itself that I got about the same time (only a 5700). I'm hoping to buy a whole new system this july... with the latest nvidia...

Canīt do a list of bugs that I found in this current releases because of course will take me... time

but for everyone playing in multiplayer and having probles THIS WILL BE A REALLY COOL AND USEFULL BUG , just donīt exploit it and donīt let your friends to cheat you with this.

The bug:
- Normally you can host a game and continue a saved game from the "load game button", but after loading a game the button will dissapear. There is a way to make the button to appear again and load another game, and again in a total of 3 times. So for example you can load a multiplayer game with
friend 1 char, friend 2 char, they join the game and select their chars. then you load another game with friend 3 char and he select his char, and finally load the saved game that all want to play, if there is another chars to join from there then select them and play. This work when hosting lan games, didnīt tried with direct ip but surely there is a way to do it there too, with this way or maybe using an app.

What good things you can do with this?
- Join other players characters to your current game, with all his items, stats, quests and etc but in your current game progresion or viceversa.
- Bypass critical multiplayer bugs such characters stucked in arindaleīs ceilings and other places, and more.
- Continue the game if a mate canīt join this day, and join him back another
day.
- Save the game if a player get dc or crash, so the rest donīt lose the game progression, and join him back in that location without prob (only that player will lose the progression from the last save such as completed quests, points, items picked, etc)

What bad things you can do with this? (exploits)
- as veteran and good player, I donīt support any exploit/trainner/cheats and nooby things. This is used by me for the reasons explained as "good things" (solutions to some probs), I support the fair play so I will not give
bad ideas, just a solution to some players that wanna keep playing Dungeon Lords. Itīs all depends on your self respect about challenges..

What do you need?
-This will only work with at least 2 pcs in a local lan, 1 the host and any another just to "confuse" the host.

Now how to explain this...
- PC1 will be the real host, PC2 "decoy"
- Go to lan, and host a new game in BOTH pcīs
- After both pc created a lan session, then PC1 press cancel and will back to the multiplayer menu. Enter the lan screen again and this time just join PC2īs game. At this point, you will see the "load game" button in the joined game :eek: , but donīt do nothing.
- After sucefully joined, press cancel again and will back to multiplayer menu again
- now just host again with pc 1. Load a saved game and after that you will see all the chars from that save and the "load game" button will be still there ;)
Then the rest will be easy to get, load a save game that have your friend/s char/s, tell them to join and select their chars, load another save game if need to join friends that are not in your current game and AT LAST load the saved game that all wanna play.
After the game started with all joined you can save in a new game and all will be togheter from now on.
If a player crash or doesnīt wanna play today, just keep a backup of the savegame where that player leaves saving in another slot, so he can join again later.
Got it?

playing almost every day like that in a total party of 7 players and at the momment (almost at the end of the game with almost all players with tier 3 completed) we managed to continue smoothly all the quests and without losing anything or get permanently stucked for ever. but carefull, as I said, the good thing in multiplayer will be to select the most permanent player to get all the game-story quests and items from those quests. he will lead the rest of the players and he will know (if he pay attention to the dialogs) when other players can do a thing or not (such as pick an item surrounded by an aura or talk with a women being attacked by his husband :p )
