I'm installing Dungeon Lords right now and let me tell you, I'm already sick of the background music loop. It's also making it a little annoying to do other stuff which might use the audio channel for something useful then a 30 second loop of music.
Don't do it in your next game or at least give an option to mute it.
And no, muting the whole sound system isn't the same thing.
