When I try to use 1260 X 1024 resolution I get a small image of the game in the top left corner of my screen. Im using a system with way more resources than even the recommended ones suggest. Anyone else seen this? Or maybe got a solution? I tried the directx stuff on the website but it didnt make a difference. Im also using the latest drivers for my Gforce FX 5900 Ultra card.

Having the same problem----I can't run in anything other than 800x600 (all others just give me progressively smaller windows).
No solutions, but I'm glad I have company (maybe they'll fix it!) :)

For me on all the resolutions besides 800x600 the main menu will be in the smaller window but once I start playing the game with a big resoolution it resizes for the game.

Woohoo! I didn't think of going *past* the main menu window! thanks.
I can't change the resolution at all, it doesn't matter what the setting is, I allways play in 800x600, also the other video settings don't change anything. Maybe I try to reinstall the game with the other CD2 (are there more people here with 4CD in the box?)

Yeah I got two of the Disc 2s also, and to change the resolution you may have to set the option, click exit then reboot the program, and then go IN GAME =P
and BTW im glad it works for you.

Yes, it happens with me too. I have a nice system with a Geforce 6800 GT video card and my CPU gets thrashed bigtime. None of my other games do this. Not even Doom 3.
I always thought the graphics GPU of the video card was supposed to reduce the workload of the CPU. I guess the game wasn't programmed that way. Who knows?
