need help with end of ELVEN TRIAL

Ok, i think i am at the end of the elven trial. I am in the room with the wizard throwing fire balls down on me, npc spawning, and funnels of fire around the room. What the heck i do? The mobs just keep spawning, and soon i get behind and got a crap load of them on me. What i do?

Kill them all. The first wave or 2 is easy archers, rush them. The knights are a little bit tougher, but the mages are the hardest part. If you wait until the mages spawn, you can run around the room letting the mages hit each other and the knights until only a few guys are left.
