Hey All,
I am trying take care of the Fighter Guild Second Quest - Rescue Lord Falen from the evil Demigoth slaver Minas Taws south of Skuldoon.
Problem: I can't find Minas Taws! lol~! I really hate running around the Forbidden Lands - such a pain. So can anyone help me by telling me where the Slaver is?
BTW - I love the game and I am addicted! I do confess the product was sadly shipped incomplete and needs to be updated/patched very, very soon.

I havent done this class quest, but i had to do a similar one. I had to rescue Sensei Yamamtsu who was "south of sculdoon", but was really far to the west and in the area south of the moor swamp. So if you havent found the slaver guy yet you might try looking in that area.

Im looking for minas taw too. i cant find him either, and how did u get into the forbidden ands. I get stoped at the gate and the guard says i cannot pass.

This is the quest I'm currently working on and it shows why this games NEEDS an auto-map. In the wilderness areas, you can't just go wandering around trying to find something because you get attacked at least once a minute. If you decide to backtrack, you get attacked some more. It's total frustration trying to find anything out in the woods in this game because everything looks the same and you can't get your bearings due to the constant attacks. In a game like Gothic, you had all kinds of unique looking areas in the wilderness so you could navigate by the appearance alone, so you really didn't need an auto-map. For the people who say, 'Just use the paper map and the compass', all I can say is 'Yeah, right!'. Maybe in a slower paced game, but not when you can't walk two feet without getting attacked.

Is he in the Forbidden land or is he in Demigoth lands?

I found him hes in some obscure little corner with near a shack, towards the south of the forbidden lands.
The center nortern wall of the "Southern Boulders" section I believe on the paper map but I can't be totally sure with out an auto map.

Should be south of Skuldoon somewhere in the forbidden lands...but no luck in finding him yet.

Lord Falen and Minas Taws are located in the Forbidden Lands, along the Southern Edge of the "Southern Borderlands" type on the map - in or between the 3 hilltops. No- auto map but I stubbled upon them near the hilltops.

You'll need to progress the main story along then you'll have access to the Forbidden Lands.

Lord Falen and Minas Taws are located in the Forbidden Lands, along the Southern Edge of the "Southern Borderlands" type on the map - in or between the 3 hilltops. No- auto map but I stubbled upon them near the hilltops.

Bah..that means I passed south of him without ever realizing it. I ran the entire perimeter of the forbidden lands but forgot to do the inner perimeter.

save before you kill minas taws, i killed him (and his buddy) but upon returning to the fighters guild they just tell me "i remind you to find out what the **** happened to falen" so there's another bug for ya.

I still cant find that bugger. I found a large house with a small one next to it down the south but no spawn. Also found a small house near the portal, that's where the T3 mage guild quest guy was.
Been zig-zagging the Forbidden Lands. I wonder if it got bugged for me as I got both the fighters and the mages guild quests at the same time? o.O

After you kill Taws - Falen is standing next to the banner in Taws's camp. The camp and Taws are both located in remote and isolated parts of the Forbidden Lands. BTW - All the way to the Southern Border (Edge of Map - Center) of the Forbidden Lands you will see three stone/hills marked on your map - Taws and Falen are located between or just a hair north of them.

My god gimme a clue here! I've been running around in the forbidden lands forever. In fact, I just stumbled on the naga temple and ran through that for laughs to get more heal potions.
The chunnelers are vicious.
I've read everything people have written, but now I am low on potions and things are getting hairy. I guess I could start a multiplayer game and recruit some help in the form of people delivering potions =)
From the gate to the forbidden lands, did you follow roads to get to him? I am about to scream if I fight off one more pack of 30 wolves!!!1@

You can lessen the number of times you are attacked by random stuff. During the startup of the game select options from the menu. One of the options is Random Encounters, set this option to less. I did this and the game has been more manageable IMO. I haven't found him yet, but need to. If you take a look at the fold out map you can get a good idea of where you are and where they said he is. From the Sagathian Moors you would have to travel South/SouthEast. I've taken to writting in locations on the paper map as I find them, at least as best as I can figure where they are. That way if I have to go back I have some idea of where to go. I would much rather have an ingame map though.

I found him this morning. I followed the southwest road until it ended and kept going generally sout from there and ran into him.

From the Moongate head SW through the small forest until you come out on open ground. From there head W and go west until you get to the 3 hills, then go straight S until you hit some mountains. Follow the mountain SE and around it until you're heading W again. Just hug the mountain (it should be on your right side) and you should find the guy.
