Greetings all,

I've been playing DL 3 days now. Started out pretty cool (wilderness, swamps, upper story/theater), but pretty much ended at Fargrove. :( I've been everywhere in Fargrove (all of the Guilds, and now have 3 quests I can't complete because I can't get out of Fargrove). I've completed the "Thief" mission in Fargrove (although, like others have said here, couldn't get the final treasure chest to activate/do anything), killed the "ghost" with the flaming skulls, etc. Now I'm just stuck in Fargrove, with no clue what to do, and no recourse. That get's very old after awhile (congrat's to those who've made it out! But it sounds like there's much more buggy trouble on the "outside").

Unfortunately, I have to agree with many here: the bugs are just too many to list (my favorite is the female citizens in Fargrove who have men's voices!), and it's difficult to believe that the game was even released in this state.

The fact that there's no map kills me: I run around all day in Fargrove, with no direction.

In any case, I've bought the darn game and I guess I'm stuck with it.

***Spoiler***

After killing the guy with flaming skulls talk to the man about everythign he'll eventually give you a life rune (voice over have to complete for quest progression). The head back to the guy at the temple who gave you that quest talk to him (just introduce yourself no topic to pick this time). He'll say you should speak to some woman in her private chambers and open a door for you. Go talk to her about EVERYTHING (takes a while since voice overs must complete...) She'll direct you to the mage shop who will direct you to lord davenmor..... The main guy in town in the (gate district?).... He'll give you a letter to pass the guard at the west gate (note more than one exit gate exists). Remember the L key shows your quest log, though it usually isn't very informative :(

and remember, let the all the NPC's speak their speech to the end,
otherwise you won't get any new quests

To gain an audience with the lord of Fargrove you have to have a letter from the guy in the magic shop. He has been trying to divine the location of the daughter and with news from him you can see the Lord. He will then give you a letter that will allow you to travel outside Fargrove.
