Hall of Lords

I've entered Hall of Lords and requeted petition. When I said to this Lord(dont remember his name) that the Fathien family stole this armor, he sent me to the elders. Then I went to the right and encountered Elder Kyoshi. Well I killed him after 20 minutes of hitting him. Then I climbed up this columns and finally i'm fighting banshee. I didnt kill her, instead I gathered all four stones and placed them in the holes near the cage. But cage was empty and I went further... Encountered many elves and couldnt kill them all...
What do I have to do? Any suggestions?

Are you past the catwalks over the water?

Once you place all 4 runes and the gates are raised, you should be able to exit via a door that was previously barred. If it won't open, try killing more of the elves.

If you are talking about the next part of the trial on the bridge, you have to step on both of the blue stones on either side and the walkway will advance, repeat until you are across.

Some people say that killing the elves makes the walkway advance, but I think it's the stones.

No. I have accused the Fathien family and got sent into the trial of the ancients. But now i'm level 9 and find it too hard to pass the test...

Yes, we understand that. Once you got all four stones in place a barred gate should open leading to the next part of the trial. You have to use a set of catwalks to get over a water area. Have you done that? If you have you entered a room where many many spirits spawn, you just got to kill 'em all. I died several times here. My character was only level 4 or 5 at this time.

If you could tell us more closely as to where you are it would help us help you. Are you trying to cross a water way where spirits are spawning at each end of a catwalk? Are you in a sealed room where spirits keep spawning and a mage is above you throwing fireballs?

... ok, how about the room after the bridges ... where you have these fire spouts and get pelted by loads of elven spirits ... most other places I could just run past if needed, this one I don't see the 'path' ...

SAVE B4 you go in.... TIP keep running round and around its a pain and takes a while but the monsters will kill each other with fireballs spells,firepits ,etc till theres only a few left then kill and hay presto.This is not my info by the way i got this idea off another thread so creds to them .

Eventually they'll stop spawning, kill' em all and one of the platforms should drop down so you can ride it up. Although there have been reports of this not happening.

I am there as well. I have killed all of them except the one casting fireballs from the ledges. Is there a way to kill this one as well?

I have been trying to use arrows but they don't do any damage it seems.

Edit: If this is where the platform is suppose to drop but didn't, what do I do to get it to work. Please don't tell me to start over again.

Those platforms must be bugged.

I've seen posts where they never came down and now this one where the last guy isnt' coming down.

Here is how it worked for me:

1) mages started on platforms,
2) more mages spawned in room,
3) mages on platforms eventually came down as platforms lowered,
4) I was then able to ride platform up.

If yours is working differently, it might be a bug (see how corrosive to a game not even knowing what is and isn't a bug is?).

BTW, arrows SHOULD damage that mage up top. Make sure you get a clear shot and aren't hitting the bottom of the platform.

that was the hardest part of the game for me so far, i was 7 and managed to get through it somehow without dying (mostly luck probably), i didn't know if there was something i was supposed to do or not, so i just kep running around and swinging at everything, eventually the only thing that was left was one of the casters on top, the ledges started to move down and he just disappeared into one of those black clouds, so perhaps it was all about lasting X minutes? maybe X mobs, who knows. some nice XP in there though :)

Thanks for the advice. I know I have been hitting the elf on the ledge because I can see the damage at the bottom of the screen.

The platforms don't seem to be comming down at all either to make it disappear.

I will go back and spend another 1/2 hour or so shooting arrows and see if anything happens, either platforms will lower or some damage may appear.

I REALLY don't want to do this over again. That is where my other save is, right before the whole trial. OOPS. Now I know better. Save more often until the bugs get worked out.
