Spinning Camera?

I have been trying to join my friend in a coop mode, by direct IP. He created the games and i joined them. What i saw as i joined the game, was us standing there for 4 seconds, without my player responding to any commands. Then the guy teleported up on a tree and a mountain, fell, and died. After which the camera started spinning around my body in circles, mocking my death and the inability to do nothing about it.

Doesn't respond to any keys, no nothing.
Help.

We have also had this happen to us too.The multiplayer mode for this game is very buggy.I hope it is all fixed with a patch.Ill keep my fingers crossed.
