View Full Version : Character Physically Stuck in Ceiling

My friend and I have been doing the multiplayer for a good bit now over the past few days or so.. And while in the Apothecary in Fargrove, he jumped up and hit jump again, and climbed onto one of the support beams, and is now stuck in the ceiling.
Is there ANY way to get down? A noclip mode? ANYTHING? We really don't wanna restart.
I tried jumping and hitting him, to push him down, but that didn't help. Killing him did no good, and there's not any zones or anything close enough to move him with. We tried loading in and holding forward while loading, for the supposed brief noclip or something, but that didn't help.
And reloading isn't an issue, I saved after he got stuck, because he failed to inform me he was stuck. :P

This is what happens in any 3D game ... if you manage to get where you physically can't, and *then* the game recgonizes it - you are *stuck*. Permenantly, forever. Reload, and hope for multiple saves ...
It isn't just a DL thing, but it is awful when it happens in any game. It happened to me, and I didn't save ...reloaded and all I lost was the booty from one lucrative battle. Because I save to one of a few slots every minute of so.

We play 3 people... We had this problem all the time untill I thought of a way to get around this problem...
DO like this for easy game play...
ONE player tries to JUMP through the door and press SHIFT to enter the door and the loading will start and your character will CONTINUE jumping after loading in the NEW Level or other side of the door.... :D

Another thing that works is having everyone choose a different direction to move as you zone. Basically the same idea, the point being any type of movement will work.

Zoning wasn't the problem. My friend simply jumped twice while on the counter in the Apothecary in Fargrove, so that the second jump made him grab the ceiling beam and climb up, and get stuck there.
I'm aware of what causes stuck problems, and I already said we can't reload. I was wondering if there's any kind of other bug or exploit or cheat or anything that can be used.. We're not very keen on starting completely over.
