Is there is a way for me to save my Online character when I have JOINED a game?
Will this ability be implemented in the future?
I want my ONLINE character to actually be mine and not the property of the HOST.
I would like to be able to save my character when I quit a Multi-player session. Currently the host has access to everyone's characters in the session SAVE GAME, which I can understand. However, if were to join a different MULTI-PLAY session, my character could still be LEVEL 0 and after weeks of playing YET not HOSTING.
BTW - THIS GAME ROCKS.
I don't need any auto-mapping, so put that on hold and work on this instead. We have a compass and some of us are supposedly adventurers... right? This is closer to RPGing than the host of MMO-costume-dramas that I've played or Betaed.
So, in conclusion, give those who JOIN MULTI-PLAYER sessions the ability to SAVE their character and put the rest of the cosmetics on hold.

We have a plan to get a more robust character save/import system, we just have to work out a few key game item issues first... We'll be discussing it and hopefully can get it into an update!

That's encouraging.
Off the top of my head -
1) more than one online character locally
2) treat the 'characters' discreetly so that I can reload my singleplayer game using my mp char (otherwise I export my char to play mp, and then my singleplayer game is outdated)
3) allow me to save my char when online
i.e. treat the 'character' like diablo does.

That's excellent to hear. I for one would MUCH, MUCH, MUCH rather see you improve this than any cosmetics in the game like character appearance. Armor takes care of that anyway, imo. Even an automap isn't necessary with things like the maps being made and shared by users here. This being said by one who wasn't lucky enough to get a paper map with their game. No big deal.
The ability to save multiple characters is KEY. I don't think we should be limited to having one saved character. And the option for host and joining pcs to save their character in game at any time. Another big key here.
Your time and effort in this project is appreciated. If not by all, it IS appreciated by some. Please keep reminding yoursleves that there is great potential in this product. Hopefully, with a few updates, it can be the game it's possible of being. Best of luck, and thanks for the information.

Indeed, have to agree with Nightcreeper.
So far, yes this game is MAJORLY buggy as you guys know, but, it's incredibly fun despite all of the bugs. My friend and I played for 8hours straight yesterday on a LAN game, we had loads of fun, and only critical bug we ran into was that the Adept quest 'broke' for my character (I had retrieved the Galdryn's Horn in a different save, so, it wouldn't let me join the Celestial Order at all).
Another thing I'd look forward to seeing changed is spells regen'ing faster. o.o
Dev's, keep up the work and make this game what it can be! =)
