I have played the last two scenario under patrol/tactical, where I use a Salmon class submarine to attack the 45,000 ton battleship Hood. Although I managed to put more than 80 torpedos (38 knot in speed, 13 feet depth) to her hull, the battleship was still afloat and going at 8 knots! These heavy ships seems un-sinkable! Anyone who has sunk one please let me know.
PS, I have sunk a smaller battleship (9,000 ton) after putting some 25 torpedo to its hull.

well i think you are confusing your self, there isnt 2 different weight classes of the battleship.
In Enigma the classes are:
BB = Battleship (Hood, Kaiser Wilhelm & Prince Edward)
DD = Destroyer
DE = Destroyer Escort
CV = Corvette
MTB = Motor Torpedo Boat
U = Submarine
M = Merchant
T = Tanker
OL = Oiler
Fish needed to sink them:
OL, T, M, U, MTB = 1 fish
CV = 2 fishes
DE = 3 fishes
DD = 4 fishes
BB = ? (around 24).
If you shot 80 torps at the Hood at a depth of 13m then you can be sure that 95% of them went under her.
Same goes for the 25 torps you shot at a DD.
Tip: set the torpedo speed to max : (44kts) and depth 0 or 1
