Still stuck on Marauder Quest

I've been up and down the road between Arindale and Fardale. I've completed the Emmindor quest, but not yet gone to the tower to seek out the wizard himself. I've been up and down the road w/ the sign pointing towards Arindale/Bolen Field/Fargrove and never encountered the Rogue Marauder I am supposed to kill. Any suggestions? Is there a way I can hack/spawn him? I have 300k Exp Points and nowhere to allocate them without new skills. I really don't want to restart the game just so I can become a Knight, because a quest is broken. Any help would be appreciated. I know where others have had him spawn, the afformentioned road sign. I myself cannot get him to spawn.

Are you sure you didn't encounter him? He looks just like the other guys with the skulls on their shields. But you would probably notice because he is harder to kill. I didn't head back to Fargrove until after I saw Emmindor the second time.

I had quite a bit of trouble finding him, but while I was at the Shine of Celestial Light or whatever it's called just off the bowen field road he appeared with a few rats while I was trying to do another quest. He wasn't too hard, maybe like one of the elves in Ulm.

I'm currently stuck on the paladin quest. It's the same sort of deal. Some dark one is meant to appear somewhere between that tower and the ruin's of the chamber of the stars to the north. Just been running around between and around them for a few hours with no luck finding him.

I'm not sure if its works like a random encounter, or you have to go to a certain spot. The former sounds more likely though, so maybe if I spend an hour or two more running in circles I'll find him.

Doubleday, do you mean the Unholy light warrior you are supposed to kill? He looks like a ghost, go to the bolen fields, all the way until the road stops, then go west and there should be a small path between 2 huge mountains, just go through there and he should appear just at the end of the mountains or whatever.. Took me forever to find him!
