Dragon!

Yeah, i was walking from Ulm to Arindale and what do i see but a red drake? First instinct is to blast spells at it of course. I empty out my magic missile, shrieking star (which doesnt work after the patch btw), and it does some damage. My fire spells of course didnt (fireball, fire strike(?)). It gets maybe : off of it sizewise and the bar is about -------------. Welll I died and died, lost about 100 advancement poitnsa because of this, but after the first death it doesnt matter. I unload arrows for about 15 minutes and it gets maybe a thiurd gone, then i stopped.


to the point, why is there a dragon encounter on this path? Kind of unfair dont you think?

1) Just run from the dragon, you are not ready to fight him yet. 2) It adds danger and excitement to put something that big in your way. 3) It does matter if you die even after you have lost all your advancement points. You also loose attribute stats. Like vitatlity, honor, str, dex, agilit etc.

Yeah my first fire drake was right in the heart of Arindale, just near the moonstone gate. After dying a few times I got the hang of it with a bow, and spent half an hour strafting and clicking. Got a fair bit of xp out of it, but only a dragon's tooth as a reward. Whichever nether spell that requires dragon tooth as an ingredient better be **** powerful.

I took on the fire drakes after I could get back into fargrove, and had lightning and ice shard. Was pretty easy unloading about 20 or so of each spell to kill it.

You get like 250,000 adv points. So its a nice kill. I've since run into three more drakes going to the naga temple

How are you getting these spells like lightning and Ice shard.. I can't find any spells besides the one the mage is selling in Fargrove which was still only fireballs at best and I don't get drops of spells at all hardly.

Rofl drake are almost easy, turn on round and don't get hit by the fire blast, hit him, he will stop and fight him, after he will do the same thing. shoot he's flame of fire and you just need to hit him to make him stop, but you must wait he finish blast it before hitting him. i have found maybe 2 drake egg and a few dragons tooth, maybe 4-5
