How do you become a monk

Bahh this is frustrating. How do i become a monk?! I got the dragon egg and turned into the tiger dude in arindale, but it gave me samurai and imperial. So what do i do to get monk? I then want to get budoka too. Any help on that would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance

i think you need thief/adept combo to get budoka/monk
with thief/mage i got budoka
with adept/fighter i got samurai/imperial

i got monk with being a fighter knight and adept but monk sucks the ninjitsu doesn't work and the duel wield skill doesn't even show up

Ok, lets say i start a thief..how do i become a thief/adept? where is the adept?

You get the adept quest by joining the celestial guild, same place where that holy seer chick tells you to go get the horn in the catacombs the only other npc in that church temple thing gives you the quest to put a candle in an alter

The manual doesn't explain that very well. There's a lot of stuff about this game that is not documented but should be.
