0 in IP address

Me and my mate cant play DL @ Lan because it refuses to accept that our local IP-addresses have .0. With any other it accepts the IP and tries to connect, but when you insert IP with number zero it just erases whole line with IP. Can we do anything?

How about changing the ip.. is it so important to have .0. in ip? lan will work with 192.168.1.x too...
