special combos?

is there any special combos ?i can only press left mouse button to hit enemies.thats bullshit and boring.even SACRED have special combos starts fron beginig of the game for weapons.is there any in this game and how can i use them and which button to press?

Try Alt + F4 or Alt + Tab. If that doesnt work, hit yourself with a brick. At least then I'll feel better.

Seriously though, level up your weapon skill to lvl 5 and you'll see some combos though you dont get to activate them yourself. Also level up athletics to 4 so you get your backflip and all that good stuff.

You need to level up your character skills to get more attack combinations

from my experience so far in playing. the only thing i think is in the game is the special attack you get when you raise a melee skill to 5.

this is not a combo though as it only goes off after you have attacked a couple of times in a row.

i did notice however though when i picked up light dual weapons as i skill that my special attack for thrusting and slashing was different. what i mean by this was that if i attack straight on as normal it does a thrust attack - thrust special move. if i do slashing attacks by strafing to the side and attacking at the same time , it results in a different special move (nice whirling blades thingy).

athletics skill gets you the option for side stepping and rolls (front and to the side) and backflips. i think you can do your attacks while doing these moves to allow you more of an evade while attacking type situation.

but no, nothing really in the way of combo moves that i have read about. to spice it up a bit so it doesn't get completely boring i usually get a few spells and stuff to mix into my fighting so i can unload them also when they are charged. ;)

EDIT:without special combos in fighting makes the weapons really stupid.seriously even a game created in europe 2 years ago(CONAN THE DARK AXE) even have better combact stiles then this game.

I suggest you read the html manual in the dungeon lords install game directory. That answers many of your questions.

ok thanks for the information.

now unlocking treasure chests is very easy i think.thanks forthe the information. is i just unlock the first advance attack for the light weapon by levelup 5.i also got one new AXE.looks good.i gonna start using AXE now. :cool:

EDIT:this game could have been better but still its not that bad.

the attacks vary with weapons too.. a couple dont seem to have hardly any combos.

The giant axe is the best.. Thrust, slash, roundhouse slash, overhead chop to the skull.
