View Full Version : No flashlight and brightness problems

I'm playing on 800x600 (or something) and on LOW graphics... Maybe that's the reason I don't see my flashlight? I have it binded to "F", and I hear a click when I press "F". But nothing happens, I don't see the flashlight...
And about the brightness:
I'll try to upload some pics... Monsters, moveable objects are really bright...

About the flashlight - I also could not see any 'flashlight' effect. Like you, when I pressed 'L' I heard a click but that was it. This was when I was playing on a 64 MB Nvidea card. I upgraded my card and - zang - I could suddenly see a circle of light. It also accounted for some of the strange noises I'd been hearing throughout the game.

i have the exact same probs, funny thing about the bright objects/monsters is that it only started after applying the 1.61 patch.
