ALOT of players are getting stuck in the Trail #4 room becuase the elevators will not lower if you die and reload in this room and surviving the entire time until everything is dispatched is difficult at best for some. Saving often has also been the cornerstone of RPGs so please don't penalize players for playing cautiously.

Never save in the rooms.. Save before you enter each room in the little safe spot before the gate.
I'd like to see alot of other things fixed long before they get around to these kinds of bugs.
Teaches you not to rely on save too. Should be a last resort. Especially with no load game on the esc menu.

Also, they need to tone down the last fight just a bit. Even decent fighters struggle there.

dude i think this part is bullshit. i come from a melee fighting game background and this part is insane. it doesn't make any sense either. i thought i got trapped in a room where monsters come out forever and ever and i will never be able to leave. so i quit in frustration :(

Just run in circles and wait for enemies to kill each other (they're so dumb!), or make them run through the fire, if you cannot face them in battle.

That actually makes sense as an assumption given the general difficulty and respawn ...

When I figured out the secret is simply to outlast your opponents (and take down a few in the process) the fight went a lot easier. Basically, this fight is about hitting your heal potion quick key when you are at 50% damage... and hitting it over... and over... and over again. The mobs eventually run into the flaming columns or get hit by the mage's fireballs, whether you help them along in that way or not. You'll still want to whack-a-mole a few of them for experience, but just concentrate on staying alive for a while.
Oh, and summon in a few things from time to time. The mage will try to target your summonings with fireballs and hit his own guys in the process.

i'm not really satisfied with this solution. i mead is it intended that the enemies are so dumb. i have no problem if goblins aren't able to distinguish friends or foes but the elves should be able to control their attacks a little bit and they shouldn't just fire at you regardless if one of their mates is in the way. i think they didn't wanted this to be this way but didn't had enough time to correct it.
relying on it is not satifying for me.....
