Custard Mansion Treasure Map!

I got this Treasure map quest in the Fargrove slums from the Curio Shop. So I go to the the mansion in question and kill the 2 ghost's but when I try to open the treasure chest nothing happens has anyone else had this problem or did I do something wrong?

Someone else posted that when you kill one of the ghosts, you automatically get the treasure map. It may not actually show, just go back to the character that gave you the quest.

Yeah a friend and I were wondering that in multiplayer and then I just was like "Oh **** let's go back to the lady and see what happens." and it worked. So yeah you get the map regardless, that chest is just a trick or bugged or something =P.

Kind of like those chests in Fargrove castle when you help free the king, "Take whatever treasure you want from my house!" Err yeah, he has no furniture for one (or almost none ;) ) then he has 3 chests upstairs that are locked permanently.
