So! How many moon beasts did YOU get?

Wow! They just keep coming-2x2. Read on another thread that there were two and they could be picked off with a bow from the water. I got 14 by the time I decided to go on land and finish off the last one with my sword. This seemed to slow spawning, but two more came by the time I had reached the shrine. Back to the water and took down ten more. Now I'm not complaining (too much) because the experience was 18k+ per dog, but you would think that at some point they would stop. I also got a Drey Elf Watchman that had to be disposed of before continuing on with the beasts. I swam away with number 26 still roaring at me from the beach.

Is this spawning normal or just one of the bugs of my game?

same here but i got bored after killing about a dozen. easy kills when you stand in the shrine and one beast is behind the mini wall and the other stuck in the archway.

i had spawns turned up so ended up with about 15 at one time. they just kept comin faster than i could kill em at times

I had the spawn rate set to high and difficulty to high, when I finally got to the shrine I think I had about 20 Moonbeasts chasing me. Had to flee to the shore and take them one by one but problem was that they kept spawning faster than I could kill them.

They come pretty fast.. I was getting groups of 3 pretty regular until i got sick of it and ran back to the water. Great exp. Crap treasure tho. they drop one thing. and you can only carry 1 moongem.
