I got the shadow crystal, placed it on the pedestal, thought to myself I have a few things to do around the house be for I sit down a tackle this dungeon saved the game and exited for about an hour, finally I load my save ready to do the dungeon and what happens the purple portal vanishes before my eyes and I can’t get into shadow ruin. That’s about as much as I can take of this BS

I’m totally disgusted with this game it just makes me sick to my stomach that I paid my hard earned dollars for this crap, I feel insulted. This game had so much potential I’ve basically have taken all the short falls of this game in stride because I been having some fun but not anymore enough is enough. How any company can put something like this game out in the market that’s so screwed up and expect to be unscathed by negative public reaction is beyond me. I make a point of not ever buying a game from a company that’s ripped me off. I think sooner or later some one got to make companies that knowingly rip the public off pay in a court of law because I believe this is criminal.

You know I think next time this company puts a game out that looks interesting I’ll just see if I can find a illegal download of the game it will be my form of protest and a little payback it will be a first for me, and my friends will laugh and call me a hypocrite because I’m one of those people who always support the game industry and is against piracy but I’ve been burned so many times now that I honestly don’t know who to trust any more except for a few exceptions like ID or Valve. I’m really starting to think that companies that knowingly rip the pubic off are feeding the need for piracy of games, that’s very unfortunate. But if a gaming company can act criminally I guess it ok for every one else after all there setting the example.

Hello,

Sorry you are having an issue with progressing in the game, I would suggest you try going back to an old game save.

Have played Dungeon Lords from start to finish quite a few times and I never experienced that, I would have felt rather frustrated myself.

Let me know if this works

This is not intended just for the OP but for all the angry people. Please people, visit the forum for the game you want to purchase BEFORE you get the game. This will save you from finding out that it sucks after you own it. Or don't, then you can go on the fourms and complain and I will know which games to stay away from.

I personally checked forums like Amazon.com, all they said that the demo was a little buggy, and I expected the actual game to be better. So you can't just rely on that unless you want to wait a couple of weeks until after the game is out, which isn't a terrible rule of thumb, but I really wanted a decent rping game that I hadn't already beaten, like Morrowind or the Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale series.

Jeremy, the problem is doing specific things at specific times. I was able play the game from start to finish also. Things like saving after the portal has formed or saving IN the fourth room of hte trial of the elders lead to game stopping problems when a player loads that saved game. Portals vanish, elevators don't work, doors close that shouldn't. These are the problems people are having.

Unless they do thorough research on specific situations players are not going to know that you can't do that.

I see your mistake. You should have saved BEFORE placing the crystal. Just like pausing the game or opening chests and such. While you're doing that, several enemies randomly spawn.

My mistake LOL

You have to be kidding, there’s only one mistake I've made and I won’t be repeating it with this company.
