View Full Version : Samurai + other tier 2 class
Ok. Im a level 14 samurai, just took the quest for becomind a Hatomoto. I was thinking, can i become a hatomoto knight or something like that, cause I did the fighter quest but the dude in the weapon shop in fargrove does not give me a class change quest. Or maybe there is some other class that I can mix my samurai with, cause I really would like to be able to wear heavy armor and other stuff =)
Please help, give me some pointers on this, or maybe im doing something wrong ?

you may need to go back to fargrove and talk to the man at the dragon house. If he does not give you the hatamoto quest try the man at the tiger house. IF he does not give it to you i have no idea of where to get it then. If your tier 2 classes are Knight and samurai. The teir 3 warrior class should be avalible from the weapons shops in Fargrove, Arendale, maybe even Skuldoon. Once you get the teir 2 class you should get the quest for teir 3 as soon as you talk to the person who gave you the teir 2 class. Hopes this helps you.
what's your other Teir 1 base class?
if it's mage you could try for Battlemage as i think that has heavy armor.
adept has paladin for heavy armor.
or if you are playing a female toon you could try for vakyrie for heavy armor.
maybe the problem with you not being able to get knight is that you picked Samurai. samurai is a teir 2 choice from the fighter (easter guild) selection pool i think. maybe you can't pick two teir 2 classes from the same base class pool ???
example: i couldn't pick monk and paladin for a character. monk is a T2 choice for adepts (eastern guild) and paladin is a choice T2 from the standard adept guild.
just guessing though on all this :p

I can wear heavy armor and dual wield one heavy and one light.. Here are my tiers
Fighter - adept - samauri - paladin - hasumoto
level 19

Yes the paladin gives me the heavy armor and the hasumoto made it easy for me to get heavy weapon dual..

I don't think yu can get 2 tier 2 classes form the same tier one --- so an eastern tier 2 fighter + western tier 2 fighter is out.

**** it, i discarded the celestine order invitation from the beginning, Im so screwed =( Any pointers on that ? cause id really love to get a paladin class =) btw im lvl 20 samurai now =)
