nevermind, tried playing with kegs through direct ip. It worked fine at the beginning but got progressively worse in terms of lag. Then it was just unbearable. I hope the patch make multiplayer run more efficiently.

It didnt Fix it with the patch ether.

It's no different over direct IP to be honest. We tried both with absolutly no difference in lag.

yeah its sort of hit or miss. i played with a friend for awhile through gamespy with bearable lag, the next attempt had him teleport far away and spin forever till disconnect, the next attempt just had him frozen, then finally got back to playable but with lag that increased until basically 4 fps about 20 minutes later.
