someone delete my last thread?

I already posted a thread asking for help as after I patched my Painkiller game (the original version) I can not play the game as it wont register the play cd and it keeps asking to insert correct cd. I patched it on order from 6.1 to 6.2 to 6.4. The problem happened at 6.1 so I hoped by updating it with the other patches it would go away. Not so.

When did you post that thread? Because most forum threads got deleted around one month ago.

Did you try inserting CD 1 and using that to play? If that does not work then try using CD 3.
If nothing works then use a no-cd crack.

Thanks Luigi. I just posted today. i get the feeling a mod thought it was pretty stupid and deleted it. To explain myself. I got Painkiller last year when it just came out, played ity for a while then went off games altogether. The original game had an addendum that informed disk 3 was the game disk. Obviously the patches changed this to disk 1, as I had been playing with disk 3 in previous to updating, but I hadnt realised that. Im sure I read through the changes the patches made and didnt see that one but maybe I looked over it in the list. Anyway I am grateful for your swift reply.
