Yes, you build up a mental picture of someone based on what they say, how they react to posts, their forum name etc They *never* look how you expect.

Imagine someone describing the things that Bruce Lee could do, without that someone describing what Bruce Lee looks like. You'd come away with the impression of a mean, hard looking, immensly strong and huge geezer yes?

Suffering and pain... I've always wanted to go to Iceland - one of my biggest wishes is to see all that lava... to see a volcanic eruption... bloody h-ell!

Can you borrow a camera or maybe scan a photograph...

I just recommend to not buy anything else than food. Price differences between electrical devices like computers or cameras etc., can range from 300% - 800% between fx. US and Iceland prices of the exact same product.

A guy I work with spent a two week holiday in Iceland. He said it was one of the most expensive places he had ever been to. He also said it was one of the most stunningly visual palces he had visited. I've only ever seen pictures and the odd documentary and I would love to see it.

I´m not much of a nature fan, I maybe take it to granted.

But you shouldn´t have a problem with prices here as long as you buy in the right stores. Yesterday, I saw that food prices can go up to 1250% difference between stores. If you ever come to visit, I´ll tell what stores to stay away from. :)
