All the reviews I read regarding Dungeon Lords were most annoying. This game isn't perfect for sure, but as well it doesn't deserve such bad scores. So I decided to make my own review.

Have fun reading it ;) :

Heya Borg! I appreciate what you're doing for the cause ... gotta tell you, bro... it's time to get a new server! I have a real difficult time bringing up normal pages let alone download anything. ;)

Well, you're wrong about the resemblance to Diablo 2, diablo is an isometric rpg where you have much more combat options than DL.

Also it seems you do give a quite high score , but ask yourself the following question : How many times are you going to play this game from the start over again? Can you even find some hint of replay value?

Sorry to say so , but you are really being nice with the game, at least you could have pointed out the repetiveness of the outdoor graphics which makes you run into circles at times since there are no good and valid reference points.

But nice reading anyway, nice to see someone point out the good parts of the game even thoug our opinion on how much score the game should have differs enormously.

The server works great usually. But today seems to be some problems. Stay tuned, it should work fine again. Sorry for any inconvenience.

...at least you could have pointed out the repetiveness of the outdoor graphics...

"Another so-so is the outdoor environment. At first side it's well made as the dungeons. There's grass waving in the wind, trees, hills and all the stuff you need for a proper made environment, but if you explore it more and more than you notice that it doesn't change. So a bit more varity in the certain areas, as well as some details like birds in the sky, flies flying around lanterns, mice running around in dungeons and such kind of stuff, would have created a much more authentic experience." Quote from my review

I just started a new game as a mage. I normally only play all my games once ;) .

Man ... I take it you didn't play as a pure spellcaster. This game stinks for someone trying to play that way.

"And as opposed to the GameSpy and wherever retards..."

Very professional. I, as the father of a special needs child, also appreciate the reference and comparison of other reviewers to people who don't fit perceptions of normal. Thank you.

All in all it is a clear, unbiased report that only a retard would disagree with.

If you still have problems then please use a download manager. I just tested it and the server works fine ;) .

I just arrived in Fagrove and haven't decided till now how to develope my character.

"And as opposed to the GameSpy and wherever retards..."

It wasn't the right word choice, sorry about that. I corrected this.

Borg, I think this was the fairest review i have read yet.By the way your site is laid out very nicely and how come you can put such a wonderful array of screen shots out when all the big gaming sites make you open them one at a time? Great job! I agreed with every point you have about DL and I have about 25 hours in it.

I dunno, I say the score on this review was way too light. 7.9? How many 7.9 games are incomplete, buggy and run like this? Other reviews might've been to harshed with not saying anything good, but I dont beleive it deserves a 7.9, in my opinion. From a 1-10, I'd rate it about a 5. And it's not very addicting after awhile.. you'll eventually find that out. This game has alot of issues that needs to be dealt with, hopefully the company will do something that will improve DL dramatically.

Thx redman5427 :) .

And 79% or not is surely subjective. We all have a different understanding on what a game has to be like and what not. I only stated you my optinion. I played through the game once as a fighter which took me around 40 hours. Now I started a second game as a mage, which is indeed pretty hard, but a lot of fun as well. And as opposed to you I'm far from being bored in any way :) .

GameSpy is most reasonable reviewing DL, as opposed to you.

people who play a game all over again or many times simply has something wrong with them and needs to go outside , once i beat a game i dont want to play it over again specially just for some crappy little extras or a character etc main thing is i wanna play the game and the real story once its done then im finished with the game.

Still havent played on PC for along time (well minus the 1 day i played dungeon lords but deleted it) , still havent touched my ps2 either.

nothing is worth playing any more everything is the same crap over and over , same game , same gameplay , same stories , and yet these games still get good reviews lol.

Sounds very much to me like you are utterly disillusioned with your gaming, simply because you find no replay value in a game does not make it so for many many other people, this is especially the case where there are multiple class options to choose from since they all usually have class specific options, quests, dialogues, weapons, skills sets etc. Oh and if you must be pedantic about it you will find that it is people who rush thru the game finish and cast it aside who have something wrong with them because they are only getting a small portion of the game value kind of like ordering a big mac meal eating the burger from the bun and tossing the rest because you now know what the story is...meh

Sure thing that they're more professional than me, because I'm doing this just for fun. But did they play through the whole game to get the real feeling for the game? Or the other way around, did they most likely read what is written on other places, had a short look at the game and made their review based on only some impressions?

The gmae has a great idea, they just needed to finish it thats all.

Do you really think DL deserves to be played to the end? First impression on DL or maybe 1~2 hours playing time should be enough to be frustrated by whoever play this crap.

The best review i've read on this game.

Thx :) . I'm pretty sure that they're hard working to fix all what has to be fixed and hopefully to add a bit here and there to improve the overall game experience :) .
