How come the maximum damage done by my Eleven long bow is always 5 after my character has increased level from 9 to 14 and along the way increased all my attribute points & archery skill to 7?
Do anyone know if increasing the archery skill more will make any difference or just waste of experience points?

I too would like to know this as well. It is nice what my Ranger Lord gets for archery but the damage is never higher than the bow's stated stats.

and I also noticed (maybe I'm wrong) that there isn't a difference between range of shuriken (16''), throwing knife (50'') and long bows (94''). Even had a feeling that Venom shurikens can hit further than short bow :confused:

I have no skill in archery and am using a war bow (9-14 dam) and hit constantly even with 0 in the skill. Somehow I think that this skill is not "on" but I could be wrong.

Where did you get this 'war bow'?? :) I got one out of a chest in the Naga Temple and also found a Elven Venom bow in anouther chest in the same room. I watched my bro open the chests in the same room and he got the venom bow but not the War bow.

i got my war bow out of one of those chests strewn about the forbidden lands.
say, has anyone used one of those rune spells to increase the damage output of a bow? the spell is called "boon missles".
