people finished this game and still developers cant make the patch.why need patch if i already beat the game.

Cuz an intelligent person would know that this world isn't all about you, doorknob.
Some of us are waiting on the patch before we get serious about playing - so bugger off and go chase a few headlights.

Yah, toy computers, six packs, n too many girl friends or boys just won't cut it. A computer specifically for gaming, and a minimun of vices is the only way you'l ever afford a good machine and gameplay time.

Probably so when you decide to play the game as a different race/class, you will have some more working skills. Take repair-I believe they're trying to place that in. It'd help to not be guarding against 2 goblin ballistae and find out I got my arm speared because my shield broke. And anyway, not everyone has bought this game. When it comes down in price, people will want to buy it, and they can download the patch then. Plus, the patch may fix some the "bugs" everyone complains about, although I have not come across one of them.

Seriously tho, even if I was finished the game id still want it to be patched because I want to replay it sometime down the road. Also like somebody else said, lots of other people are waiting for the 1.2 patch (at the very least) before they start / continue playing. Then there's anybody who hasn't bought the game yet.

I think what John is trying to say is that even if they patch it and make it all better... is the replayability there to want to... its still a linear story... with only 2 endings... You either die and quit playing it or save the daughter and free the Mage...
Morrowind had replayability , so does Blade of Darkness , Neverwinter does to a degree... but then not really an action RPG either... Gothic well I personally didn't see any reason to go back thru it ... Diablo 1 and 2 had lots of replayability ( prob why its still one of the most sold PC games ever made and is still on store shelves everywhere).
whatever happens to DL it isn't going to make the bad taste go away... its like eating the mother-in-laws cooking ... I get burps for 3 days and keep tasting how nasty it was the first time... and the wife wonders why I prefer to eat before we go over to visit...
