shadow ruins help

i have activated 3 of the 4 runes (the one where u jump the tower, the one wih the three athena statues,and the one with the shadow sowrd and that dude u free and he leads u to the rune)where do u activate the final one
does it have something to do with the room with the pillars going up and down with the acid water cos i have no idea how to get across without falling into the acid water any help appreciated

Yes, you have to get across the rising/falling platforms to the other side. When you walk into the room you automatically activate the plate at your feet which gives you some 30 seconds to get across to the other Shadow Gate,.If you touch the acid water the gate closes so just exit the room and come back in after a few seconds. The platforms will reset themselves and you should be able to jump from one to the next fairly easily.

after u first enter the room, the platforms will go down, as the last one is going down run and jump onto the first platform as it is coming up. this should give u enough time to get across. I had a gard time with this one until I did this.
