i think with all thats been going around this bugs and bad reviews we can ask the company for exact date on at least the second patch and whats updated about it and what options and fixes it will have ,thats the least they can do for us who paid money for the game..

if they give us a date, they'll just postpone it like 5 more times.

I just hope that with already 2 weeks postponed release of patch they making it right. Probably that's why they don't look so much in the forums...busy with working on fixing the game...
(God, I wish that was true ;) )

Are you kidding?! They've been on vacation ever since the game released...patch #1 was already built and ready for release before the game even came out...

Well it'll be a week on Friday that they posted the 1.2 patch is coming soon. Heh. So that's not much of a help in guessing what soon means. Release in anouther week maybe? The thing is, the diff between 1.1 and 1.2 is usually not very big. heh.

The date in which the patch is release isn't as important to me as what it does. If they post the full list of changes/fixes that the patch addresses and I like it, it will be worth the wait. If they want this game to redeem itself in anyway they need to get cracking. Especially if they plan on any expansions for the game in the future. The core game should be fully fixed first.

Don't rush the patches. We want them bug free, unlike the game...Just deliver us good bug-free patches....
As per bgaum's post, HP has until June 10th to get the patch out. This date is two weeks from his post date. Remember, he said 1-2 weeks. If HP rushes a patch, it may not contain the fixes and/or enhancements that you want. Give them a little more time. They released the game WAY TOO EARLY. Another 3-5 weeks of 80-100 hour weeks for the developers may finish the game. Maybe, maybe not. I just shelved the game till the next patch comes out. I may play the game with the next patch, or I may wait for the 1.3 patch. I will just wait and see.

Unfortunately, the only things they have said they were fixing right now is the map and character appearance customization. I'm not very confident much else will change
my friend couldn't even run the game after the first patch ---- he had to reinstall and plays w/o it.
I'm a little afraid of what the 2nd patch will do.

EOM it could be your friends hardware at fault there. To be honest, I've heard nothing about anybody else with issues on the 1.1 patch, in fact, many folk have suddenly found things like their sound working ingame and not just the menu screen when they installed the 1.1 patch to highlight an example.
Trust me, I have no love of this games developers as yet. I think it's bug ridden and not even worthy of beta. However, it does have potential and the storyline is well concieved. I'm more than willing to wait for them to iron out these many bugs as long as it is within a reasonable time frame. We cannot expect an instant fix but can expect fixes within reasonable times. We should also be seeing a fixed post from the developing team highlighting known problems and what they intend to do about them. A blog if you will. I have not seen one as yet.
